Tbh I feel like separated much makes more sense. But also there’s not enough space in the App Store app.
What do you mean? The had enough space for the past few releases. This is just weird.
Honestly, it was more consistent in iOS 18 where it was *always* at the top. Now you get:
- Separate search tab (Music, etc)
- Merged search tab (new in 26.4, App Store)
- Bottom search field (apps like Mail, Messages)
- Top search field (Files, etc)
- Top search button to bring up a top search field (Calendar)
- Top search button to bring up a bottom search field (Safari Tabs UI)
Account page isn’t loading on my iPad so I can’t check app updates, just me? Gets stuck on loading.

Yeah everyone is saying no Siri stuff my device starting re-downloading Siri and Apple Intelligence after update is complete but it just is sitting with it’s still downloading.
Also- in Settings>General>About it no longer says the firmware version for me so I don’t know where people are finding that now

New design to Safari tabs in iPadOS. You tap on the ‘tab’ to bring up the search bar. Looks like 'Separate' and 'Compact' options are back.

Like done tho not just through the 100% like it doesn’t say it’s still downloading in the background? Mine went up to 100% and now is downloading in the background and has been. ChatGPT is also unavailable while this is happening
