Early betas are looking positive! 🤞🏻26.5.2 is terrible, I have little hope for 27.

I do have hope for iOS 27 and I really hope Apple software devs don’t screw it up.26.5.2 is terrible, I have little hope for 27.
Care to elaborate a bit what you mean by "terrible"?26.5.2 is terrible, I have little hope for 27.
Yes a 17 Pro Max, my issues are the constant stuttering across the Home Screen and in apps, terrible ram management and general ios 26 quirks. Battery has always been phenomenal, I don’t care about that aspect regardless.Care to elaborate a bit what you mean by "terrible"?
I see that you do use an iPhone 17pro from your profile, assuming its this device that you have updated.
It's interesting to see that many reports about bad experience (mainly battery issues) are from iPhone 17 pro users.
Some models seem point towards improvement (17 air) and some, like for me on a number of devices (non are 17 tho) don't have any issues, its pretty much the same performance as before the update (from 26.5).
Haven't seen any reports on people with the regular 17.
There are obvious differences between all 3 models but also many similarities, especially with the 17 and 17pro.
Will be interesting to see if 26.6 solves it.
Are you by chance running your phone in low power mode?Yes a 17 Pro Max, my issues are the constant stuttering across the Home Screen and in apps, terrible ram management and general ios 26 quirks. Battery has always been phenomenal, I don’t care about that aspect regardless.
Thanks for explaining, was just assuming it was battery issues since many has reported that.Yes a 17 Pro Max, my issues are the constant stuttering across the Home Screen and in apps, terrible ram management and general ios 26 quirks. No never, as I said I don’t care about battery this thing lasts forever I charge overnight and never let it go below 50% if I can help it, 156 cycles still 100% health. Are you by chance running your phone in low power mode?
AI is enabled yes, don’t really ever use it as it’s useless currently. Storage is fine I have 144GB free out of 256GB.Thanks for explaining, was just assuming it was battery issues since many has reported that.
Strange that you still have stuttering on your screen, I have the 16Pro and for me the stuttering was solved around 26.2 or so. There's still some GUI bugs that I find every so often, some seem to be related to that I use zoomed mode tho.
Are you using AI on your device? And how much free memory do you have (storage). I remember that a few years ago jam packed storage could affect performance a good bit.
Longshot but try and disable AI to see if it helps with the memory management. Not sure how the iOS 26 AI is on the memory but if you experience lots of lag and crappy memory management it might be worth trying to disable potential memory hogs.No never, as I said I don’t care about battery this thing lasts forever I charge overnight and never let it go below 50% if I can help it, 156 cycles still 100% health.

No problems with those on my AirMy WiFi and bluetooth have been very finicky the past couple of days on my 17 Pro. Anyone else?
Same. I have never complained about an iOS update but this one is bad. My 16 Pro runs hot and battery drain is terrible.Destroyed the battery on my 16 pro max. Phone runs hot too. Never had this issue with a single update before until this.
In the meantime, I updated to public beta 26.6 beta 5 and the battery is back to normalSame. I have never complained about an iOS update but this one is bad. My 16 Pro runs hot and battery drain is terrible.

Could it be related to the Garmin device? I saw it on the top of your list. Or have you just been using it more lately?I updated to iOS 27 public beta to see if this makes a difference. I will report tomorrow.
Hmmm, if course it could be but the Garmin app wasn’t updated since the last iOS update but I will keep an eye on it today. 27.0 (Public Beta) so far much better though.Could it be related to the Garmin device? I saw it on the top of your list. Or have you just been using it more lately?
Has the garmin device been using more battery lately?
