ISPW will not work again according to Aaron because the decryption keys were not published again.
This is mega wild! AGAIN?! I'm restoring my phone as we speak. The only way to update to the newest developer build without failure is to do it from settings on the iPhone, this wasn’t the case until literally the latest build released today and the previous one. Ughhh. Okay big one upstairs I get it! Message LOUD and CLEAR! It's not like I never got a disclaimer every single time since the beginning of time I dared to install dev builds that IF I want to test developer builds of iOS or any other software I need to do it on a separate device not my main device! So the accountability is resting just as much on me as it is on Apple albeit in different ways. 🙃

Just do an OTA update, I honestly don't know the obsession with IPSW on this forum.
I think it's psychological. I haven't had trouble with OTA updates at all - for years now

And these forums are packed with problem-finders, and that's understandable to a degree. I myself really have had no major issues with the iOS 26 beta cycle, nearly every app works fine, and it's not a big deal to get around GUI glitches (for me)

Oh well, I do play things safe: every year just before beta 1 of the new OS, I restore all my Mac/iPhone/iPad fresh and do NOT restore from backup in any way. I then reinstall the apps I've been using, make the adjustments again (especially on the Mac side), and everything else just restores from the cloud. Following this 'spring cleaning' method, I don't have any real problems (shrug) and enjoy the new start =)

PS - over the year, I accumulate so many apps and do so many tweaks - the fresh start feels nice, psychologically at the least! haha

this would work well if I didn't have multi-factor auth, credit cards, drivers license, and all the other stuff.
That is - it's a very 15 years ago view of the world.

I believe the development team knows exactly what's changed; why aren't these logs included?
It’ll be like:
minor changes
wip
another attempt

merge branch bugfixes-ios15
this time for real

add regex for proper HTML parsing
code formatting
allocate space for next year's emojis
add debug print
remove debug print
revert ChatSiri prototype #67
refactor ad support in Maps

For some reason my System Data on my iPad Air WiFi M3 on beta 2 and now beta 3 has doubled my normal amount of storage consumed, usually less than 10gb to now 21gb. Not sure why that is, maybe it shouldn't have been below 10gb, and now it is corrected? I say that because my iPhone 17PM has always been around 18-22gb in size.

Safari tab overview / tab switcher not rendering some pages, showing just a white tab with safari logo (not all however).
Anybody else experiencing that?

Already tried clearing all website data and caches. Even used a new profile, still happening. 🙁
Haven’t installed this beta yet, but I’ve been having the same issue on beta 2.

If the correct build's IPSW file was uploaded last week and the update worked without problems, why is this beta not working again? Have they uploaded the wrong file again?

FIX FOR BRICKED PHONES (like mine):
1. Download 26.5 beta 1 (v2) - 23F5043k
2. Install using iMazing (it doesn't take long, but does appear to install the restore image)
3. Phone will start up with white screen, ask for password (I used my normal one - not sure if it was saved or not).
4. Phone will attempt data recovery - this worked for me but took about an hour.
5. Then install 26.5 beta 3 OTA.

My credit cards never were removed from Apple Wallet, and everything appears okay.

Battery life on b3 is light years better than b2.

Did apple also mixed the two ipsw files for iPhone 16s and iPhone 17s?
Yes; I had to download the ipsw for the 16 Pro for my 17 Pro and it’s not just those mixed up, there are others too.

The device links point to the wrong ipsw files.

If what I’ve read is true, one of the new, but silent features, is that on iPad you can now pair your Magic Keyboard (and other Magic accessories) by just plugging them using the USB-C cable
