Going to bet the tinted LG keyboard is still blue.

Edit: called it. View attachment 2623699

Bonus round: I don't have app names under my normal-sized icons for some reason

this would work well if I didn't have multi-factor auth, credit cards, drivers license, and all the other stuff.
That is - it's a very 15 years ago view of the world.
Completely with you.
I used to do a full iOS and macOS reinstall when the new version was released in September/October, probably right up until about the time of Big Sur.
Then it just became diminishing returns. Especially since almost everything default is already stored in iCloud.
It really just turned into a very frustrating day of logging back into everything and getting everything set back up the way it’s supposed to be, for very little in return. Any major performance improvements were likely just placebo, and were likely gone by the end of the first week once everything on the device returned to normal.

iPad Pro 11 M4 / iPhone Air

  • Stutter is now intermittent. Mostly gone.
  • Still having to use Dark Reader too get all my Safari pages to show up in Dark. 🫤
  • New: some games are pausing/dragging/taking forever to execute a move/command… Heckfire/LastWar/MotherofAllBattles very noticeable.
  • Background loading for YouTube and various other venues (Paramount, etc..) is slow.
  • WiFi 6 range is still less than my Android devices. Why.
  • Devices in Battery Widget order is mixed up (see attached). Same order on both devices. Should be grouped or alphabetic.
  • Spellcheck/grammar/predict is very whacked.

More to come I’m sure. 👍

Not sure what you blacked out but it looks alphabetic to me

Heads up. With iOS 26.5 b3 on iPhone 17 Pro, and watchOS 26.5 b3, I can no longer approve Screen Time requests from my Apple Watch 11. It tells me that I have to view the requests on my iPhone. On 26.5 beta 2 this was working great. I'm hoping that this is just a bug that will get fixed before the final release, and not an intended change.

I used to restore as new once every year or two. I honestly can’t even believe that was something I used to do. So time consuming.

These days, I usually just put the phone into recovery and force a full reinstall of iOS from recovery once the x.0 release comes in September. That way, I keep my data but get the entire new OS.

Bro.. so many of these big companies are so quiet about bug fixes, changes, and add'l features, drives me nuts they don't bother with release notes

I believe the development team knows exactly what's changed; why aren't these logs included?

The app store is rife with "Updates and fixes. Enjoy your coffee and have a great day!" ugh
Always hated this. For transparency I wish they'd require logs so that we know exactly what's happening and what they're doing. Just blindly accepting changes to apps, some of which we've paid for, doesn't seem right.

They still haven’t fixed the extremely frustrating bug introduced in iOS 26.4 When answering an incoming call or a FaceTime Audio call via connected AirPods or any other Bluetooth device while the iPhone is locked, the display stays on for the entire duration of the call, regardless of the Auto-Lock setting.

For someone like me, who handles a large number of incoming calls in the car, this is really frustrating. Apple, as usual, isn’t addressing the issue and doesn’t respond to Feedback Assistant tickets.

The blacked out started with “da”. Definitely not alphabetic.
The order is the same for Icons in the widget. You would think they would at least pair the pods/case.
