iOS 26.5 Beta 4 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Getting sporadic page fails in Safari. A reload solves.
Not seeing any issue with any other devices except for my iPhone/iPad. This site is one of many.

The page fails seem limited to this site, so could be a forum issue rather than an iOS one.

Thanks for the Weather comments above! I couldn’t work out whether it was a beta issue, network issue or Apple Weather issue.

I have a couple of automations which give me weather info. As Shortcuts are so limited in functionality, there’s no timeout or “try” functions, so it just hangs then aborts, without running the rest of the script.

I think it's limited to this page and I also got it on 26.4.2.

Was getting this on Android Central and 9to5Google also.
Have not seen it this morning so far - 🤞🏼

One is left wondering why the "clear" keyboard does not have a blue undertone. It's millennial gray.

This would be the only example of a ui element picking up color when Liquid Glass is set to tinted. Everywhere else it just adds "frost" but not color. Even the dark mode tinted keyboard is neutral-dark-gray.

It'd be strange for an "intentional" design choice to only be made when one combination of switches are flipped.

Anyone else not able to move the search/url bar from the bottom to the top on an iPHone 17 Pro Max? I’ve tried changing the settings for Compact/Botton/Top multiple times, swiped away Safari and reopened it, and no luck. The URL bar is stuck at the bottom for me.

This happened to me once, except it got stuck in the dreaded compact mode.

I had to reinstall (update) the IPSW from recovery to fix it. I personally did not lose any data, but it’s possible for things to go wrong.

Inconsistent number of calories. Already saw the number of calories change the day after a workout, but I don't have proof for that one.
