doesn't work for me unfourtunately. If you click on it to add widgets it moves up below the clock, but eventually it's down again. You can grab and drag the widget bar up and down, try that.
Did you set it up, maybe it vanishes afterwards?Really hating the “Share Your Name & Photo” prompt at the top of the Messages app…
Long-press still works for me (14Pro)I was pretty disappointed when they removed the updates tab in the App Store app, but removing the option when you long press/right click on the App Store app is pretty hostile lol
They really did that? Can you screenshot it? I can’t believe it! I use this option more than one time a day !I was pretty disappointed when they removed the updates tab in the App Store app, but removing the option when you long press/right click on the App Store app is pretty hostile lol
Still present for me:They really did that? Can you screenshot it? I can’t believe it! I use this option more than one time a day !
The act of long pressing an app icon still works, but the App Store option showing “Updates” when you long press on it isn’t there for me.. I’m on an iPad Pro 2018Long-press still works for me (14Pro)
Everyone should expect these things to happen after installing the 1st beta (an 'N' build) of an Operating System that won't be released for another 4 months.Guys, please let me know if after the update your system is completely slow, with choppy transitions, sluggishness, and your iPhone overheating.
It’s very easy, just restore using the 18.5 IPSW.Can you remind me just how easy/hard it is to restore back? Keen to give it a crack bit I do not want to spend all day messing with my phone.
I know. But there's definitely something wrong with my device since I'm not seeing anyone else commenting about the same issues I'm having. I'm formatting the device to see if a clean installation solves it.Everyone should expect these things to happen after installing the 1st beta (an 'N' build) of an Operating System that won't be released for another 4 months.
Yes this is the same issue I have with my iPhone 15 pro with 2 QI2 certified magsafe batteries. I also have a magsafe 3-in-1 desktop charger and it got to 80% charging and stopped. Plugged in to a charging brick with a usb-c cable, all works fine. I did notice today that it will stay above 80% now with a magsafe battery since I used a usb-c cable to charge, but it still stops and starts. On my iPhone 15 pro, it seems very slow. I assume it's still doing the initial setup every iOS beta install does, but I've never seen it this slow. Also I noticed there is something wrong with magsafe charging. Sometimes it charges and other times it stops and starts, or stops and never starts charging again. Anyone else have that issue with magsafe?
What happened?Trying to determine any impact on battery right now would be a fool's errand. With all of the extra indexing and logging it's doing, not to mention all the new APIs that may indirectly impact apps already on the phone.. Just wait two weeks and update to beta 2, and it'll start all over again.
I don't think they'll be around these parts anymore :-(
The newer features don't work I think but that's itI´ve updated my ipad mini 7 to iPadOS26. What happens, if I update my Airpods pro 2 with the iPad to the new beta firmware and then use the Airpods with my iPhone on iOS 18.5?
Anybody tried this already?
Yes it comes with a "error checking for updates" errorInstalled on my spare 14Pro, it runs smooth and the phone is cool to the touch. I'm not sure what I think about the liquid glass design.
OTA is broken after this update, if this is still broken when beta 2 is out, we might need to update with the IPSW file.
I’m praying it’s a bug. Otherwise, I will be switching browsers.Morning after, phone is still laggy across the UI. Anyone else think the gradients / shadows at the top and bottom of Safari are super ugly?
