The Auto Mix feature in Apple Music is really nice. It's basically using Crossfading but the album art transitions are really nice.

Very laggy on 14PM and IPSW installations are broken so I had to update via OTA. Let’s see how it all shakes out after some more time

Photos app has been made worse again. Should be reverted to its iOS 18.5 design


Pulling down to Notification Center/swiping up to dismiss Notification Center is sluggish only due to the animation. Needs to be tweaked and tightened up a great deal.


Select function in mail or other apps should not be hidden behind a menu

I managed to get it downloaded and installed last night. You no longer need dev mode to do this on OS26, https://developer.apple.com/support/install-beta/
I followed these instructions and it updated in around 15 mins

It’s not showing up for me

I believe you need a free developer account.

Installed on an iPhone11. Feels like a solid beta. Aqua is not my thing though. I’d prefer the iOS18 design.

Apparently the alarm snooze time is now customisable…

Can someone see if the Reminders alert snooze is also customisable? It’s the only thing that stops me using Reminders - I wanna be able to be reminded again in 30 mins!!!

• If you create a wallpaper using the first-row circles at the top of the Wallpaper Gallery, you might not be able to place widgets directly below the time. (151709613)
  Workaround: Select a suggestion from another row.

I still can’t get it to work tho.

It seems like the widgets are at the bottom of the screen only when you use the new wallpaper that's included with ios 26. If you use any other wallpaper, the widgets are under the clock again.

Guys, please let me know if after the update your system is completely slow, with choppy transitions, sluggishness, and your iPhone overheating.

I had all of those things after installing. Now nearly 24 hours has calmed down it no longer overheats, I wish I could say the same about the other things though 🤣

Since we’re going glassy I’ve been using old Leopard/Snow Leopard/Vista wallpapers, they seem oddly fitting

Did anyone else get their iphone bricked by the install? My iPhone 15 Pro is stuck in “charging screen”. Haven’t found a way out yet. Can’t force reboot on get into DFU. MacBook won’t recognize iphone when plugged into usb-c port. Totally useless.

Had no trouble installing on other devices (iMac, MBP, iPhone 16 Pro, iPad Pro etc).

Any suggestions other than a visit to Genius Bar?

I'm getting used to it as well. It's rough and there are some "hold up" spots, but I think it's not the worst direction they could take. I assume (wrongly?) that Apple's done some accessiblity testing on this – they are arguably the leader in mobile accessiblity after all.

What is a “hold up” spot?

I can see all Eufy Cams but all Circle View's are not responding ...

I'm having the same issue, my Circle View cameras are not responding either.

Ive tried many ways, I don't even get the notification that there is a Beta software as ive seen some, and If i go to Dev options to enable it, it just takes me to bluetooth settings. Im guessing it´s region restricted like the hearing test.

Where are you based? I’m in the UK, I didn’t get any notifications, just had this option and then next time I used the AirPods it came up with a what’s new screen.

Wow the new CarPlay is really nicely done. I like the look and am I imagining it, or is it smoother. The way they give street names more depth, it makes them stand out more.

I’m in Mexico City. My guess is being deployed on sites that have the hearing test enabled or something. Or maybe it’s just slowly being rolled out

I never used an official wallpaper, it's on the bottom of the screen on any of my existing non-apple lockscreens as well. can't bring them to the top no matter what I try
