Now this trash won’t even connect to my AirPods, ruining my workout. I’ve been waiting all week for this remaster to be released.

Edit: all of my problems were posted before seeing there’s an update to the beta. Installing now.

How do you filter unknown senders out of the messages list? Mine appear in the main view marked “Unknown sender”.
In messages, top right hamburger menu. Bottom "manage filtering"

From here you can screen unknown, as well as some additional (cool) settings

The revised beta only being released for 15-16 lineup of iPhones seems to pretty much confirm that you can‘t expect any big changes (if you do, probably placebo). Maybe they fixed a few obscure game breaking bugs.

I assume it might have to do with the bootloops and charging issues that people with 3rd party batteries reported. Hopefully someone can test to see if it has been resolved.

Imagine encountering a bootloop with your third party battery, painstakingly restoring to iOS 18.5, seeing this revised beta thinking "yep they fixed it" only to repeat the nightmare cause they fixed something obscure like a typo in an Apple Intelligence settings panel.

Any brave souls stepping up?

Wonder when we’ll get the controls text switching between light and dark automatically depending on background content, doesn’t seem to do this in beta 1

Two things I’ve noticed:

1. In iOS 18, if I got an email, went into the Mail app (Apple’s pre-installed mail app) and swiped to delete it from the inbox without reading it, I’d then immediately get a notification come through of that email. Deleting an unread email by swiping it deleted from the inbox in the mail app no longer gives this erroneous notification in iOS 26. So one bug fixed ✅

2. Since iOS 18.4, played podcasts haven’t been deleting. I finished listening to a podcast on iOS 26 yesterday, and today I’m pleased to see that it’s now been automatically deleted. So a second bug fixed ✅✅

The new build is a lot smoother on my 16PM. Not seeing any of the dropped frames/jitteriness I was experiencing since Monday.
Noticed the update did not seem to cause my 16 and 15 to not warm up as much as they had been doing after changes. Yes, they each had smaller delta updates and so far both do seem to be running smoother. Having said that, they both ran remarkably well with the first release.
