iOS 26 Beta 1 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Installed on an iPhone11. Feels like a solid beta. Aqua is not my thing though. I’d prefer the iOS18 design.

Apparently the alarm snooze time is now customisable…

Can someone see if the Reminders alert snooze is also customisable? It’s the only thing that stops me using Reminders - I wanna be able to be reminded again in 30 mins!!!

It seems like the widgets are at the bottom of the screen only when you use the new wallpaper that's included with ios 26. If you use any other wallpaper, the widgets are under the clock again.

I had all of those things after installing. Now nearly 24 hours has calmed down it no longer overheats, I wish I could say the same about the other things though 🤣

Since we’re going glassy I’ve been using old Leopard/Snow Leopard/Vista wallpapers, they seem oddly fitting

I read a post on here about this, and someone found a way to get the phone into DFU mode.

I'll search this forum ...


Edit: Ah, beaten to it by "Paddle1" by 60 seconds 😁
 
So how do I send a screenshot to Visual Intelligence? All I see is the markup tools. It looks nothing like it did in the videos.

The widgets are under the clock if you use any wallpaper other than the new ios26 wallpaper. The new wallpaper puts the widgets at the bottom of the screen.
 
Turning on reduce motion has improved performance for me I'm keeping it on till the performance bugs are fixed

Where are you based? I’m in the UK, I didn’t get any notifications, just had this option and then next time I used the AirPods it came up with a what’s new screen.

I’m in Mexico City. My guess is being deployed on sites that have the hearing test enabled or something. Or maybe it’s just slowly being rolled out

I never used an official wallpaper, it's on the bottom of the screen on any of my existing non-apple lockscreens as well. can't bring them to the top no matter what I try
 
On my 3rd party lenovo screen on my honda civic 2010 i have the old carplay with ios 26. How to update it to the new one?

but i just recognized the bar on top on my ipad ... comes up sliding down
