lol cowardsI agree. I am currently trying betas on my old iPhone 11, but don’t really feel like putting it on my daily iPhone 15 with 94% of battery capacity, as I would like to keep my iPhone 15 for another year without swapping its battery.

Neither Apple devs nor the 3rd party app devs are going to do anything about feedback related to 3rd party app functionality during the beta cycle (unless you’re using a TestFlight version got the 3rd party app that’s specifically intended to collect feedback from users).I don't see much difference to last year, except the look .. which is a bit a disappointment .. but as @HouseLannister said, we are still in the middle of the beta cycle.
And what I did see currently from b4 on Mac and iPhone/iPad, I am pretty Ok with it (except one 3rd party iPhone app which still does not work as it should - and shows frustrating lack of feedback from the feedback app and the developers (PayPal alternative wallet)
Damn it’s beta 4 already and it’s still sluggish. I don’t remember the last time beta versions were this bad. For the past 5 years I’ve been using dev releases since day 1 and they’ve been mostly fine.
Surely it’s not me getting old and becoming extremely nit picky?
I think Liquid Glass pushes the computational demand more than iOS 18, so I fully expect a lot of these performance sluggishness and hiccups to take a while to refine. At least this beta cycle has not broken as many 3rd party apps as previous ones. It used to be much worse!Damn it’s beta 4 already and it’s still sluggish. I would never install a beta before a vacation. If it‘s a summer / beach / it‘ll be hot vacation, you effectively fry your battery health due to betas having heaty side effects + your hot environment.
Wait until you return, regardless of PB1 releasing. Your battery health will thank you later.
How does it run in general on the iPhone 11? My mom has a 11 Pro and I‘m worried her phone might become unusable.
lol cowards
It seems to run warmer for me with it on. I turned it off. I’m sure they are still figuring things out and no need to slow down my phone with half baked code.Do you observe a difference when adaptative power mode is on or off?
No issues for me.Also, it looks like Sleep Focus is broken. I had bunch of notifications come in at night. Had to silence the phone. Did anyone else experience the same?
It’s just on iPad for me. Haven’t risked my phone yet 😁 feedback sent. Again!Thanks…..I can't confirm that for me (iOS and iPadOS 26/4)! Not even under 26/3...
With a different phone number it has now also worked for me. It is possible that the other number with which I had tested was previously stored in the contacts and was still recognised somewhere.I changed one of my home telephone SIP numbers to transmit an "unknown" number and it got the intercepted as the anonymous call ...
I always thought the icons are too big and the density could be improved. My request was an auto-hiding dock that could go on the side like the Samsung edge panel. Then the icon grid on the phone could be more like 8x5 or so.It still bugs me to see all this wasted space on the home screen. PLUS it seems that they’ve made the dock even bigger in beta 4. I wish they would allow for more customization in this area. (B1 left, B4 right)
