On my iPad Pro I noticed the traffic lights are sometimes red, yellow and green and sometimes shades of gray. Is that a known bug?

The revisited build seems to be smoother for me on my 16PM.
The phone app is not working at all on the revised dev build on my 15 Pro. Restarted, force quit, etc. Hmm.

EDIT: I let it sit for a bit, tested receiving a few calls from another phone. Now it's working normally. A bit of a panic, but sure glad this isn't my primary phone (haha).

After charging your phone to 100 percent and using it for a while…..does anyone else notice, that your phone will say it has for example, 98 percent battery and then you reset it and it’s down to 92 percent? Then if you reset it again; it says 92 percent again. This leads me to believe the battery calibration is wrong in beta 4 by about 6 percent. It happened twice today when I tested it. I’m on 15 pro. Just curious if anyone else is seeing this.

Edit: Just did it again and it went from 92 percent to 88 percent. Very weird and annoying.
I have the same thing, 140 cycles and 99% iPhone 16 Pro Max, but in Coconutbattery is 99.1, 99.5, 100, 100.2

My Mac mini is also on beta 4

Sometimes Liquid Glass isn’t necessary, like here. It just takes up too much space for the playback controls. The X and PiP button are fine. This is only when in PiP.

I see microstutters everywhere, but it’s not breaking the phone, making it lag, or having performance issues. Heat levels are low for me as well on this revised beta. And the microstutters are just a small frame drop but most of it is still 120hz for me.

So although it’s annoying, it does come with the beta (in my opinion) so I’m not too frustrated about it. Hopefully it’ll be fixed by beta 5. My M4 iPad Pro has had these microstutters since beta 1.

Also, is anybody having this bug if your clock is fully stretched to the bottom, it lifts over the top date/widget? I’m wondering if it’s intended because it stretches from top to bottom if you invoke Notification Center.

It's actually a feature. [Similar to MacOS]. When an app is in the background the traffic lights will show as greyscale. Once you click or interact the page, the color's will revert back to their original RYG colors.

Background processing has nothing to do with this stuttering. It’s the same now as it was yesterday. I’ve installed tons of betas and official releases over the last 15 years, no matter what stuff is processing in the background would affect the UI this badly.
Mine was TERRIBLE after I installed the first beta 4, though it improved a good bit over time. It is still more stuttery than beta 3 but at least livable now. Hopefully beta 5 fixes it in about 2 weeks!

For DB4 and now (not surprisingly) even the revised version feeling pretty good on my 15 Pro.
When we think about that it’s just the halftime of the beta period of iOS 26, im very positive to see a really nice and polished version in September.
Over the last years the x.1 update again brought always more performance and polish.
Really looking forward here. Having a good feeling regarding iOS 26.

I was hoping the revised B4 would fix my issue ("more than 10" feedbacks) with not all icons/apps showing in folders on my iPhone 11.

In a cruel twist of fate, the revised beta isn't available for the iPhone 11. Maybe the employee who was meant to release it couldn't see the icon 😁

No public beta showing for my iPhone 11 either.

It is weird that it shows up in my beta section and I can select the beta as an option, but when I go back to the download page it just shows that iOS10.5 is up to date.

Well I’ve installed iPadOS 26 and I have to say so far its not as bad as people have been saying. I can read all the buttons.

I do find it a bit weird not having obvious toolbars and dividers, and knowing which apps a button belongs to at times.

On that's interesting.

I'm on dev beta 4 original, so assumed only the revised dev beta wasn't available, but you're saying us 11 users haven't got a public beta either? Maybe they're trying to fix the icon issue.
