After reading about that specific issue, I was contemplating holding off on the beta for the 11. I don't want to put it on my main 15Pro either.
Has anyone else been experiencing lag on the Lock Screen animation (when the AOD display switches on). It looks terrible. Almost as if promotion is switched off? 15 Pro Max here
Not heard of many complaints re the icons, so I'm comfident it only affects a limited number of phone versions. Probably just the base 11! Apart from this, I think it's fine. If it were me, I'd put it on the 15 pro 😁
A workaround is to change to large icons (the option when editing the homescreen so that there's no text under the icons).
Apple Maps double tap bug still present. Any app that uses Apple Maps, if you double tap to zoom it freezes the map. You cannot move or zoom unless you quit the app and reopen. Example are Flighty, Flightradar24, Transit.
I'm noticing Apple Contacts changes between my Mac and iPhone (both in beta 4) aren't syncing with the current release. Anyone else confirm?
John Gruber referenced Safari tabs as an issue because you don’t know which one is selected. Not an issue for me because the one selected has a rounded ‘pill’ shape and a little x icon next to it. I have noticed that the tab bar has different shades of gray backgrounds. I’m assuming it’s a bug. Will file feedback.

I can’t decide if it’s placebo but the rerelease version from today feels much cooler and smoother on my 16PM than beta 4 released earlier this week
My HomePod Minis all updated tonight which was great because the airplay issues were driving me crazy. Make sure you have beta turned on in. The software settings and you should be able to update
Discovered bug where proximity sensor still disabled screen even though I was on a call in speakerphone. That should not happen

Just checked, had to reload the beta devices and it popped in
I can confirm that some MagSafe battery packs, some will stop randomly charging and reconnect and disconnect multiple times over and over again.
I accidentally reinstalled beta 4 after trying to downgrade back to 18, and the OS surprisingly felt much smoother on my 13 Pro Max after a clean install.
However, I am still reverting as the micro stutters are still there, whereas 18.5 felt nearly perfect to me. Also my iCloud messages never reappeared in the app despite iCloud still showing I have 131 gigs of em. I will wait for whatever beta that gets it feeling like 120fps again.

Apple: I know people have been asking for screen parity between the Pro and non-pro phones, but it was about bringing Pro-Motion the standard model, not the other way around!!!!!
This bug in mail was fixed pretty quickly in the second B4/public beta release. They now change to black when going over white backgrounds as they should.

Oh wha wha? Thanks! Wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. First time around it’s been 12.5GB on my 15P. This revision is still 11.88GB. Interesting.
Hi all, been reading through page after page and lots of people here complaining about lag, shutter and all sorts of things but I updated to the new revision this morning on my iPhone 16 Pro and wow I have absolutely zero issues. No lags or shutter. I love this revision update. It’s so fast and great! Hope everyone phone works great again. Cheers.

Lucky you. Latest revision beta has improved things, but I still see stutters and lag on my 16 pro. Which are expected
