Just tried again

You have to click the Dynamic Island to see what happens… it displays the greeting and what the caller says… in the bottom corner is a green telephon button in case you want to take the call …

Just checking if I can snap this …

I first overlooked the notification in the Island too

I go into Settings —> Apps —> Phone and the “Default Calling App” is set to FACETIME. I clock on it to change it but the following screen already shows it set to “Phone”

It sticks until the phone is restarted or you force-close the settings app

You can literally just scroll that page down and up again and it will properly show phone also, just a visual glitch.

Confirmed.

I believe the issue is with MacOS not iOS, as the changes are showing at icloud.com

It's not the only issue with iCloud and MacOS, as calendar also refuses to log in every hour or so, and the fix is to open system settings. No need to do anything else! Apple know about it ("more than 10").

I have also Safari Sync problem on Dev 2 and i am back to 18. Actually I wanted to test again now but if the sync problems are still there I better leave it.
 
Sidecar with iPad on this beta and Mac on Sequoia is working again.

Edit: frame rate becomes unusable after like 5-10 minutes, on both wifi and connection

I chose the call screen screening feature for numbers that arent in my contact list. To test it I removed my dad from my contacts, restarted my phone and it's still not working. His calls are coming straight through. Am I doing something wrong?

make sure you don't have his number stored elsewhere... seems to be tricky to make apple forget ...

That's why I used a SIP number where I can easily change the number sent to identify itself

I’m on PB1 on a 16PM. Any idea why I don’t see the toggle for Screen Incoming Calls in my phone settings? I have a slightly different option.

Anyone else seeing issues with car play on db4 v2? Drove with it for first time keep getting cutting in and out of audio on songs in Apple Music near end when it starts transition to new song and first time in a long time car play crashed and resprung

Hi, the same thing happened to me, it's a problem with the public beta, in the beta for developer the button is present, I checked it with several YouTube videos, from people who were testing the beta for developer and the public beta

No, I am running the latest developer beta and it has the three options, NOT just a toggle.

CarPlay looks good to me. I have a Bluetooth dongle for wireless CarPlay in a ‘22 4Runner and have hit no snags.

Is it me or does it seem like people with 16 series phones are having more issues with the stuttering in particular? My 15 PM runs like a dream aside from the battery degradation.

Yeah mines a 16 pro max. Also could be an update I applied to my stereo in my VW. Using the native wireless CarPlay on it.
 
Hi all, ive tried to revert back to ios 18 and ive always just used itunes and restored that way, ive been stuck for the last 2 hours as it has kept failing, the last time failed half way through and now my phone is stuck in recovery mode and itunes wont recognise it, has anyone come across this before?
