When the keypad is up, I get the following search box and tick. Because of this, at times I can't either scroll anything above the box or at time can't type. It's also impossible to see anything below it, such as the attach file button.

Is there anyway of permanently getting rid of it?

Slightly off-topic, but which keyboard is this? I find it incredible that Apple still don’t give us a keyboard with a number row at the top. Ta.

It’s running fine, but this update has rendered Face ID effectively useless for me with how often it asks for my passcode. Put the phone down for 5 minutes and there’s a 75% chance it’ll need a password. It’s infuriating to the point of wanting to disable both until fixed.

Did you do a rescan of your face? That might very well help!

Another bug I’ve reported since like beta 2 or 3, Apple just doesn’t seem to care about. I have apps that I have badges turned off for. It still shows them in App Library folders, and when tapping on it, I have to guess which app has it. When I found the app that’s the culprit it literally stays even if I turn notifications for that app completely off.

2 betas ago I got a line toward the bottom of my screen. It looks almost like the phone isn’t in dark mode where the line is, kinda. Hard to explain. No damage to the phone. Literallly popped up the morning after the update after I plugged it in. Thoughts, or similar experiences?

There’s still so much with Liquid Glass that needs to be fixed. This is a screenshot of a video. It’s hard enough to read but the video itself is even worse (screenshot slightly darkens the picture).

iPad Multitasking is still wonky too. If you have two apps side by side (like trying to recreate Split View) and then go to a 3rd app when you swipe up from the bottom to go back to the (mock) pair it sometimes works but other times not. For example I have Safari and Twitter in (mock) Split View. Then I opened the Photos app. If I swipe up slow from the bottom while in the Photos app I get this:

Not exactly sure what it’s telling me. If I tap on Safari it brings it up on the left but on the right is part of the Photos app (as if it’s full screen in the background and Safari is on top of it). If, instead, from the photos app I swipe/flick up really fast then I get this:

None of my other ‘open’ apps (including Photos) are shown except you can see part of Safari on the far right. And the background is not blurred. If I tap Safari it then brings back Safari and Twitter as a (mock) pair. How exactly is this supposed to work?
I have not installed the beta, but from what I have seen, the iPad Multitasking experience you are describing is exactly how it was designed to work. You swipe up slowly, or swipe up and hold, and it will show you the open apps in your current workspace, which in your case are Photos, Safari, and X. You tap on one of them and it takes you back to that workspace with the app you tapped on top.
If you swipe up quicker, it moves all of your open apps over to the side, exposing your desktop/Home Screen. You can do something there, or tap the partial app window to the right to bring those apps back to the workspace.

Running into a new issue on the iPad Pro 11 M4

Several apps and bookmarks use FaceID when I access them - login. 20%-30% of the time FaceID fails (?) and after the screen flashing (like a quick reload) it goes back to the screen like I had just opened it (app or tab). This also happens when using a password manager to autofill but verifies via FaceID. Manually logging in is perfect every time.

Password Managers - Apple Keychain and Proton Pass.

However, I have not had any issue when paying for something online (ApplePay) which uses FaceID for verification.

Hard reboot has had no effect.

Do you have this option in Settings flipped off?

Does anyone have issues searching their Exchange Global Address list? I've tried on both Classic and Unified views and it shows but when you search, nothing pulls up. I had a coworker of mine try on his 18.6 phone and it works fine.
Yeah same here, it doesn’t work in the unified or classic view of the phone app. It works in the contacts app though.

Seems pretty convoluted.

I have had the same issue on my 15P since iOS 18, especially with Safari logins and needing to use MFA.

Has anyone tried a fresh install without restoring from a back up to see if a lot of the visual issues go away then? (I assume not, but curious if anyone has installed it from scratch).
Yes, I have. Many of the same issues people are talking about here are still present including Safari scrolling stutters, icons not drawing reflections until a second after swiping home, icons appearing in light/dark mode before going clear, etc. This is day 1 after install and battery life is also below average and iOS 18.6.2.
