Hier alleen icons zonder tekst flikkeren bij het sluiten van de app. Verder top!Hmmm
Great on my 16e - looking forward to the 17 Pro Max in two and a half weeksHow’s everyone’s iPhone doing one day after beta 9?
Mine is pretty smooth. Only issues are the visual bugs. But otherwise, seems good on the 16 Plus.
I happened to me in previous beta. It’s running fine, but this update has rendered Face ID effectively useless for me with how often it asks for my passcode. Put the phone down for 5 minutes and there’s a 75% chance it’ll need a password. It’s infuriating to the point of wanting to disable both until fixed.
In the last beta on, for whatever reason, the volume on my Apple Watches (series 4 & 8) goes down to zero, neither watch is on the beta. Not sure what causes it. Hope this one fixes that issue. Also hope that it fixes the terrible battery drain, which was noticeably worse on my 16PM. Somehow, the battery was excellent on my 12PM last beta. Hope that continues.
ALles werkt ook wel alleen zoek mijn (FindMy) crashed als ik op icoon personen druk. De rest geen probleem.Hier alleen icons zonder tekst flikkeren bij het sluiten van de app. Verder top!
I’m probably in the minority but beta 1 was the best looking beta so far. Would have been nice if they’d stuck to their guns and did small changes to remedy legibility where needed.Honestly the Liquid Glass Apple showed off in the WWDC developer sessions seems like vaporware. What’s in the current betas is not that at all and more and more it’s looking like it’s going to ship in the sorry state it’s currently in. Sad.
For me it’s the inconsistency. Sometimes things show up dark when they should be light and vice versa. Like the screenshot below. I have no idea why the address bar rendered dark gray. I switched to another tab and switched back and it was white. Is this just a bug or is Liquid Glass so complicated and fussy that it gets confused on what UI to render? 🤷♀️I’m probably in the minority but beta 1 was the best looking beta so far. Apple folded like a lawn chair and “biggest redesign since iOS 7” turned into “shiny icons”.
I'm still seeing light/dark inconsistencies in multiple places on iOS 18.6.2 so good luck with that. For me it’s the inconsistency. Some of the posts I’ve seen on Mastadon from app developers..whoo boy…the hate for Liquid Glass is visceral. They’re spending the majority of their time struggling to get their app to look half way decent knowing that if they don’t update their look and feel they’ll stick out like a sore thumb and get negative ratings/reviews.

The icon is bigger for meIs this new in this beta? I don’t remember if it was like this before, but when I long-press an app from the home screen, it now pops out above the rest of the grid while showing the “quick actions” menu.
