Does anyone have a problem with the FindMy app on iOS 26 b8 and b9??? Deleted and reinstalled it, reset my iPhone 15 pro Max searched the internet.

And yet no solution.

There’s still so much with Liquid Glass that needs to be fixed. This is a screenshot of a video. It’s hard enough to read but the video itself is even worse (screenshot slightly darkens the picture).

iPad Multitasking is still wonky too. If you have two apps side by side (like trying to recreate Split View) and then go to a 3rd app when you swipe up from the bottom to go back to the (mock) pair it sometimes works but other times not. For example I have Safari and Twitter in (mock) Split View. Then I opened the Photos app. If I swipe up slow from the bottom while in the Photos app I get this:

Not exactly sure what it’s telling me. If I tap on Safari it brings it up on the left but on the right is part of the Photos app (as if it’s full screen in the background and Safari is on top of it). If, instead, from the photos app I swipe/flick up really fast then I get this:

None of my other ‘open’ apps (including Photos) are shown except you can see part of Safari on the far right. And the background is not blurred. If I tap Safari it then brings back Safari and Twitter as a (mock) pair. How exactly is this supposed to work?

It’s running fine, but this update has rendered Face ID effectively useless for me with how often it asks for my passcode. Put the phone down for 5 minutes and there’s a 75% chance it’ll need a password. It’s infuriating to the point of wanting to disable both until fixed.
I happened to me in previous beta.
I disabled and enabled again faceid and the issue disappeared

In the last beta on, for whatever reason, the volume on my Apple Watches (series 4 & 8) goes down to zero, neither watch is on the beta. Not sure what causes it. Hope this one fixes that issue. Also hope that it fixes the terrible battery drain, which was noticeably worse on my 16PM. Somehow, the battery was excellent on my 12PM last beta. Hope that continues.

I’ve reported this per feedback. My ultra 2 does the same thing at times and it’s not on watch os beta either. I can’t figure out when adjusting phone/notification volume. It changes the watch volume. It’s been happening since beta 2 for sure/me.

Honestly the Liquid Glass Apple showed off in the WWDC developer sessions seems like vaporware. What’s in the current betas is not that at all and more and more it’s looking like it’s going to ship in the sorry state it’s currently in. Sad.
I’m probably in the minority but beta 1 was the best looking beta so far. Would have been nice if they’d stuck to their guns and did small changes to remedy legibility where needed.

Apple folded like a lawn chair and “biggest redesign since iOS 7” turned into “shiny icons”.

For me it’s the inconsistency. Sometimes things show up dark when they should be light and vice versa. Like the screenshot below. I have no idea why the address bar rendered dark gray. I switched to another tab and switched back and it was white. Is this just a bug or is Liquid Glass so complicated and fussy that it gets confused on what UI to render? 🤷‍♀️

Some of the posts I’ve seen on Mastadon from app developers..whoo boy…the hate for Liquid Glass is visceral. They’re spending the majority of their time struggling to get their app to look half way decent knowing that if they don’t update their look and feel they’ll stick out like a sore thumb and get negative ratings/reviews.

Maybe a total coincidence but this is the first time since using the last 3 or 4 public betas that my IP16P has connected to the internet at home with the speeds it's supposed to have. On the last beta my iPad Pro on ipados26 beta was getting over 600 down while the phone was only getting like 50-75 down. This morning the phone topped out at 587 down.

Does anyone have issues searching their Exchange Global Address list? I've tried on both Classic and Unified views and it shows but when you search, nothing pulls up. I had a coworker of mine try on his 18.6 phone and it works fine.

I'm still seeing light/dark inconsistencies in multiple places on iOS 18.6.2 so good luck with that.

Is this new in this beta? I don’t remember if it was like this before, but when I long-press an app from the home screen, it now pops out above the rest of the grid while showing the “quick actions” menu.

I still have all icons redrawing every time I switch btw light and dark. They redraw faster (most of the time) than in the last 2 betas, but still does it every time. I also see a slight redraw when switching from page to page at times. A couple of times, the redraw was severe when switching. I think it's something with my system or the amount of apps I have installed...not sure. I'm going to do an IPSW install soon.

Also, if I update 5 apps at a time, the phone heats up like crazy.
