Downloading. Have they fixed the bug where when you hold your finger down on text in Spotlight to bring up the magnifying glass loupe to select, that it glows so you can't see what you're selecting?
Are you referring to Apple apps or dev apps?I can't believe this...
The visual bugs with the app re-draws as well as the app icons turning black upon tapping them when using clear or tinted app icons are still NOT fixed in this beta, wtf apple?
Such clear obvious visual bugs and not prioritized on their end?
Just tested and nope, still there.Downloading. Have they fixed the bug where when you hold your finger down on text in Spotlight to bring up the magnifying glass loupe to select, that it glows so you can't see what you're selecting?
Yup! The rest of it is as expected. I use dark mode so Safari still needs a decent amount of workMost of the visual bugs/quirks i was annoyed about in b8 are still present in beta 9 (wifi toggles, liquid glass redraws etc)
Did they update the app? I remember having a lot of problems with Tapatalk when a new major update was released.I can't get TapaTalk to work. I've had issues with TapaTalk on every new build on 26. But this bad.
Just noticed that. Good lord, how is this not fixed yet. This really better be fixed for RC, or it's a very, very poor impression.Just tested and nope, still there.
May never be fixed, because Apple has that pipeline for everything from photo processing to rendering, the added visual effects may have put a heavy toll on last year's tech so (yeah why not then you'd want the new 17 Pro).I can't believe this...

It’s showing Files content even after turning off “Show content in search”?Just noticed that. Good lord, how is this not fixed yet. This really better be fixed for RC, or it's a very, very poor impression.
That said, the Files app FINALLY will turn off in Spotlight, which is very nice. I hated it showing in my Spotlight results, when all I use Spotlight for is to search apps, rather than app content!
Edit: Nevermind... I spoke too soon, it must have been indexing. The content of Files app remains in Spotlight, despite me turning it off. Sigh.
NopePlease tell me this beta 9 fixes the app re-draw issues and the visual bugs.
So you saying it may only work right on the latest and greatest iphones? That seems like poor representation since not everyone is going to be upgrading.you'd wan
Everything redrawing here. No changes in that regard. Not seeing the app redraws now, but still have the scrolling micro hitches/stutters, especially in Safari. I feel like I'm back on my Pixel phones with their microstutters during scrolling.
Edit: also had Safari lock up and crash within the first 5 min.
Yeah, that really gets at me as wellI can't believe this...

Yep same.Damn, literally every single visual bug that’ve been irking me for the last few betas are still present. Woof.
At this point I have to agree.I guess it's not a show stopper and does not prevent anything from working. I totally agree that this is noticeable and not good UX but as it's not preventing anything from working or causing battery drain (presumably), it's surely down low on the list...
I mean. Do you know the caller? I've had plenty of spam callers that have caller ID names.
