iOS 26 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Many many photos from messages are disappeared by 26... Both in the individual messages themselves and when you scroll down from INFO... Either a black box or a generic "blank photo" symbol appears where my freaking photos used to be in.iOS 26

The "I am not imagining that these photos existed and are now gone" is very real on my phone.
I had lots more phots.
They are not not on my phone.
I bought a phone with big hard drive to keep all this **** on my phone , not in iCloud....

I have many missing photos and videos and screenshots and even photos I sent myself to that contact. I have the photo in the photo app so I know I sent it but it doesn’t show in the Info section. Maddening. It’s an iMessage bug re: indexing
