iOS 26 Like/Dislike Poll

The contrast between different people's opinions on the Liquid Glass design is astonishing. Let's settle this. Please vote for whether or whether not you like the latest design changes, and make a comment if you have other thoughts, or there's something I missed.

Is it "better" because it’s just different or does people hate it because it’s different? Or both at the same time?

I think Apple dudes and dudettes have been so starved for change that ANYTHING remotely pretty and shiny will feel AMAZING and "no I hate it" at the same time.

I think we’ll need to let the dust settle for a few months before the genuine sentiment seeps through.

I'm okay with the design, but in the short time I've had with it so far, I think 26.0 is quite buggy for a non-beta release. Especially Safari (both on iPad and iPhone).
In terms of the Safari buttons that are mentioned in the poll, I think most of what had a separate permanent on-screen button can now be done with the long press and swipe of the address bar right?

I like the visual design overall, but dislike some of the UX design. Feels like more clicks is needed to do the same thing as before.

I think it looks very Fisher-Price. Clashes with the $1200 titanium phone in my hand. Maybe they know the new target iPhone market is under 18. No real significant improvements or changes, someone just turned the transparancy up to 85% and called it a new operating system.

I love it. I have no issues with legibility and love that everything doesn't look completely flat.

You can change the Safari layout back, in case you don't know.

I don't "hate" it, but that was my vote in your poll. Rather I "don't like it very much".

With some changes like reduce transparency and certain dark mode wallpapers I have made it tolerable for myself. I don't like the liquid glass design, but I won't go so far as to say I hate it.

No "I like the technical aspects and features, hate the look" option? Because the new features are great, and it's a shame they live under such an ugly coat of paint. Or rather clear coat, I guess.

I'm neither for or against it, i'm sure some features and the UI will grow on me, I love certain things, and very much dislike others.
