Sure, but the spotlight index data would operate in user space, not at the system level, and its performance could also depend on what 3rd party apps you have installed. It may have had a glitch trying to read some app properly. Especially if it was on a beta OS. Perhaps some apps weren’t compatible fully with iOS 15 yet. But the core system would have been the exact same whether you wiped it or not. The only thing that can effectively change system files now is updates.Tbf a few iOS version ago (I think 15) I had been running beta's on my daily and it had a spotlight indexing problem that lasted ages caused by some beta quirk that didnt affect others. A clean would have solved it but I think it didnt get fixed till X.1.2 so a while.
To add, in this case, these are system animations and system level settings (go to settings —> Privacy —> location and check the Wallet app icon)?that are having issues. I don’t believe that a clean install would change or fix any of that.
PS they changed something in the RC keyboard because it is suggesting all kinds of wacky words and predictions are all over the place
