X.1 releases tend to be weekly betas because they are usually out fairly quickly.

I'd expect release in October some time.
iOS 13 to 17 had weekly x.1 beta releases
iOS 18 had a beta x.1 release every two weeks.

So we wont know if 18 was a one off, or the new pattern until beta 2 🙂

18.1 was different due to Apple Intelligence, it started during the 18 beta cycle.

Darn was hoping for 26.0.1 today and doesn't look like that is going to happen. Originally I was leaning towards next week based on trends but always hope that it would be sooner. Guess we are looking at next week now.

But honestly such a 0.1 release won’t fix by far not the main issues with 26.0 Putting way more hope into the 26.1 release later in October.
Beside the car play issues that some are facing there doesn’t seem to be huge bugs currently.

It's more than just a few people with a Carplay issue. Some have Carplay issues. More have the wifi at home/business issues. And others have bluetooth issues. All are related to the new N1 chip or it's associated software.

There are numerous threads on Reddit about including one thread that 100+ posts and another that 500+ posts.

What's crazy is according to that Reddit thread apparently 26.1 beta fixes the wifi/carplay issues... so why sit on this thing and not release a .0.1 to fix it in the interim?! If I had a 17 I'd be losing my mind.

They are probably testing the fix on 26.1 beta and collecting logs.

26.1b1. Fixes 1 of 3 main issues. I think/hope that 26.0.1 will fix all 3 of the main issues.

For sure they will. I would bet that the CarPlay fix is included in 26.0.1
Apple won’t wait all these weeks until the 26.1 release to fix this.
Pretty sure we get the small point update somewhen next week.

I'm still unable to see my recently added albums in the Music App on CarPlay.

Does anybody get this weird orange/yellow circle glow on the keyboard? And what is it?
