Even Apple admits it. And this statement is clearly separate from them saying there will be battery drain while the update is completing in the background. But let’s stay on topic.
Just because Apple says it’s possible some “may notice a small impact on performance and/or battery life”, that doesn’t mean everyone’s encountering decreased battery runtime on iOS 26. That doesn’t follow… It just means it’s a possibility. They also say some may experience decreased performance, but that doesn’t mean that’s always the case either… Just because Apple says some may encounter these things doesn’t mean all are encountering these things with iOS 26.0… That doesn’t logically follow…

But yes, good to stay on-topic. It will be nice to see what comes in future 26.1 betas. 👍🏻
