Hypertension notifications in more countries could mean an update today.

I'd guess that this change would be a server-side update. And even if not, if the rollout of the hypertension thing is going to more places, wouldn't that be a GA release and not a beta update?

iOS 18 was released 9/16 & 9/20 (iPhone 16 Day 1 update); 18.0.1 was released 10/3 and 18.1 was released 10/28.
iOS 17 was released 9/18 & 9/22; 17.0.1. was released 9/21 (15 Pro only); 17.0.2 was released 9/26 and 17.0.3 was released 10/4. Finally, 17.1 was released 10/25.

Given that we are already at 10/7, we probably won't see another update prior to 26.1 unless because 26.1 is such a large update, that is delayed until November. Usually we see x.2 end of November/Early December.

With that being said, I would like a 26.0.2 because I still have many annoying little graphical bugs.
But you totally forget that especially these small point updates are not only about bugfixes all the time, they are often because of security reasons.
That’s why 26.0 isn’t signed anymore, because of a security issue that was fixed with 26.0.2
Means the version history of the past doesn’t mean that much for these smaller updates.

I believe well see 26.1 public during the week of October 27th. Because to fit in 26.2 before Christmas / New Year, I feel like we would need to see the following:

Potential 26.2 Beta Schedule:
Week of Nov 3 - Beta 1
Week of Nov 17 - Beta 2
Week of Nov 24 - Beta 3
Week of Dec 1 - Beta 4
Week of Dec 8 - RC
Week of Dec 15 - Public Release

Historical Aspects:
18.2 - 4 betas / 2 RC
- 2 weeks between beta 1 and 2
- Released Dec 11

17.2 - 4 beta / 1 RC
- 2 weeks between beta 1 and 2
- Released Dec 11

16.2 - 4 beta / 1 RC
- 2 weeks between beta 1 and 2
- Released December 13
