Hopefully they release 26.2 soon. I didn’t want to be on 26.1 to begin with but they wouldn’t release 26.0.2. Maybe they’ll cancel this one too, who knows

They’ll release their updates according to their internal schedule and not your personal preferences. Apple is clearly testing 26.2 and X.2 has been part of their SDLC for decades. And to get to X.3 you need to have X.2. Why would you assume it’s going to be cancelled?

Sometimes the things you say don’t make sense at all.

And you’re not complaining about your issues anymore so I take it that they’ve been resolved after your do-over?

im thinking we might get a 26.1.1 update this week, was looking at previous 1.1 updates and there have been several of them going as far back as iOS 10.1.1

18.1.1 was released last year on november 19th so if there is such a thing as 26.1.1 would have to be this week i would think - next week is thanksgiving and then its too close to the 26.2 release.

What part of it had to make sense? It’s a speculation thread. You seem to take it really personally that I want a new update to come out.
Not sure what do-over you’re referring to. I’m on 26.1 since the RC. It’s still occasionally glitchy (had a bug yesterday where Safari wouldn’t let me move my tabs) but I haven’t experienced any full resprings or crashes yet, thankfully.

The do-over refers to your bricking with one of the updates you mentioned earlier.
Pointing out the obvious isn’t taking personal.

Anyway, there’s a chance for a 26.1.1 today.

lol what a strange take. I guess everyone is waiting for further updates because 26.0 really wasn’t that great.
26.1 is a much better version that’s totally fine to use.
26.0.2 was not released because 26.1 was so close. 26.2 will of course not be cancelled.

Uff final that late. Ok we will see.
My 17 Pro is looking forward to this update, while I won’t complain about 26.1 that much.
I think so, and seeing the beta 3 they've released, it still needs a lot of work on 26.2. And now comes the Thanksgiving break, so I wouldn't be surprised if, instead of a Release Candidate (RC) as we should expect, we see a beta 4 in the first week of December. Starting the beta cycle later has its downsides.
