Apple seems to quite like December 11th as the date to release the latest iOS .2 version, so we're just hours away from finding out if this love affair between the date and Apple continues haha
I don't see the fact that it's a Thursday as an obstacle; there have been releases on Thursdays in the past, and occasionally on Fridays.

Hope so, because for me the RC2 has been worse than RC1.

While Thursday is unusual it’s not totally unprecedented… I’m wondering if they really wanted it out yesterday but decided to wait because of the server issues they were having.

December 11th? It was only iOS 18.2 and the day of the week back then was Wednesday, not Thursday.

As for Thursday releases, in recent iOS history it was iOS 13 (in September) and iOS 14.2 (in November).

I think it will be coming today! I can feel it, one or two build numbers higher than RC2…. iPadOS and MacOS also get updated builds, but WatchOS remains the same. There’s my prediction!

Because you really want it to or you actually know? 😉 Thursday is an odd day for major “.X” public releases, so they might as well wait until Monday, 15 Dec and then release 26.3 beta 1 later in the same week?
Nope. Thursday is quite common actually.
