update out in the next half hour otherwise monday it is then!
Well is it not going to be just the same as RC2 anyway. If so then it then there’s no big rush for it I reckon. Already have it in a way really.

Final release today would be most likely the RC2 build. Release next week could be a higher one.
might not exactly be on the dot at 1pm Cupertino time either give it 15 minutes after otherwise a no go.
If it’s the same build as RC2, why wait to release it?

26.2 final is being released today (Thursday). 26.3 Beta 1 likely next week and then we stay on B1 til the new year.
Because you really want it to or you actually know? 😉 Thursday is an odd day for major “.X” public releases, so they might as well wait until Monday, 15 Dec and then release 26.3 beta 1 later in the same week?
Apple seems to quite like December 11th as the date to release the latest iOS .2 version, so we're just hours away from finding out if this love affair between the date and Apple continues haha

Hope so, because for me the RC2 has been worse than RC1.
While Thursday is unusual it’s not totally unprecedented… I’m wondering if they really wanted it out yesterday but decided to wait because of the server issues they were having.
December 11th? It was only iOS 18.2 and the day of the week back then was Wednesday, not Thursday.
As for Thursday releases, in recent iOS history it was iOS 13 (in September) and iOS 14.2 (in November).
My bad, i thought i was in a thread called speculation thread.
I think there is a good chance for today. There has not been a .2 release as late as the 15th (next Monday) in the last several years. So, I'm speculating that today is a good chance for release.
And same for macOS 26.2?
I had heard on a separate thread that someone had contacted AppleCare on find my Mac issues and it would be added by the Apple engineers in the next update.
