I'm just guessing here, so 'grain of salt' and all that, but here are the possibilities as I see them:

1. New beta Monday or Tuesday. If so, I expect a short .4 beta cycle with no new AI functions until 26.5 beta which Apple will want out soon but will likely be an extended beta cycle (more like .4 usually is) compared to previous X.5 cycles to get it right.

2. No new beta until the following week with some new AI functions included. This will be demoed at the Experience on 3/4, hence the reason for the hands-on press opportunity with new equipment to show it as well. I suspect the functionality offered will be fairly polished if they do this to avoid embarrassment. Other AI features will show up in 26.5.

3. No new AI functions at all until WWDC but they will have something significant even in the first beta to developers. If not, yikes!

I think 2 or a variation of 2 is right. I’m guessing we get new AI features at the experience on 3/4. Even if more are reserved for 26.5 as well. 👍🏻

If there is any chance of new HomePod mini or something akin to it on 3/4, they'll have to show a reason for it, such as new AI features. Updated laptops or iPads won't need AI as a selling point. I think this week's beta or absence will be telling one way or the other.

I would think that 26.3.1 will align to new hardware, so potentially not till some time next week. 26.2.1 aligned to the AirTags, so my guess is 26.3.1 being hardware would be a fairly good guess.

WWDC will be the unveiling of the Gemini powered Siri, no doubt with a fully refreshed Siri interface, and features such as app intents. I just can't see them pushing any significant change to Siri in an update which would likely launch in the month before WWDC

I don't think there will be anything to play with however until after iOS 27 is launched at the earliest. Most of this stuff is server side and won't be enabled during the beta testing period.

In the beta cycle of 26.2 and 26.3, between the last beta and the RC, they let almost two weeks pass, if I'm not mistaken. They can do the same at 26.4.
