iOS 26 Speculation Thread

Tomorrow at 9 am they are having the live events, I doubt they announce more hardware during the hands on event. So I am thinking the hardware announcements are over unless we get something small like a refreshed HomePod or Apple TV. We haven't heard of any MAC desktop refreshes, so I lean towards they are done.

So with that said I wouldn't be surprised for 26.3.1 today if my thought is true and hardware announcements are done. 26.4 beta cycle isn't as big of a impact, they can release a new beta Monday or Tuesday next week and still have it available before the launch of any products.

They still have not announced the new budget MacBook, so it could be announced tomorrow before the event. Since none of the new announced products are actually available yet, iOS 26.3.1 can come today, tomorrow or next Monday-Tuesday at the latest.

Good call, I forgot about the budget version. So ya maybe we have one more day of hardware.

I am betting that the new budget MacBook won't be a factor in release of 26.3.1 as the new Air and Pro don't seem to mention anything about 26.3.1. Only the new displays mention 26.3.1, so likely the requirements for 26.3.1 have already been announced.
