Honestly, I find new iOS, with glass or without, to be somewhat underwhelming. I think mobile OSes have plateaued overall. Very little innovation, but that’s ok. I do want a phone that does not have a camera bump. I want a flat phone. I want a FAT version not AIR version. A FAT version where the phone is flat because the battery would be increased in size to fill the valley that is most of our phones back side. Is that unreasonable?

I want a phone where it’s easy to use it with one hand, I want navigation buttons, glass or not, to be within reach of my fingers. I want navigation to be standardized at least between core apple 🍎 apps. Is that unreasonable?

Sorry just throwing out some items that I think are easy to achieve but for some reason all the braniaks at tech companies are too cool for that.

How about a phone OS that can be easily switched to kid OR elderly phone, so my parents in law can find a FLIP camera button when doing face time?

Sorry again for long late night post. But like it or don’t, but those are missing items. And tech people for some reason are not accepting the challenge.
You make some good points…but what does this have to do with speculation of when the next iOS 26 build will be released?

Hoping for the very best today :)
It will be a stunning beta with beautiful Liquid Glass animations <3
Apple websites will get a lot of nice stuff to cover later today.

Given yesterday's fumbling with Tahoe beta being released and then pulled, it seems like DB4 today followed by public beta tomorrow.(25A5316i was what was released and pulled yesterday.)

Would be interesting to see just a day's gap between a full DB and PB version(not just a revised DB and PB based on it.)
Also hoping for more 'liquid' and less 'frost'!

Didn’t the macOS Tahoe beta 4 that was accidentally released yesterday show even more frosted design than beta 3? (For those who installed it before it was pulled)

Oh, if the pulled beta were more frosted, that would be unfortunate.

I guess am part of a very small minority who actually mostly liked liquid glass other than some glaring accessibility issues which I 'believe' could have been resolved without frosting so much. Perhaps, am just outing my utter ignorance on UI/UX.
Maybe a slider to control the level of liquid/frost?

This isn’t the exact comparison I saw (the one I did didn’t have a watermark), but showed the same changes. Thanks for posting.

Thanks. Looks like very light tweaks, don't really seem to change the experience much.

Will know soon how it feels.
