Is the next beta due this week? I kept checking today because they seemed to be releasing new betas everybody weeks. I’m really hoping they’re going back to the original glass or add a setting for people to dial it down if they don’t like it

Most likely. Doubt they release the Public Beta and let the dev beta continue on for another week. Most likely DB4 tomorrow then public beta Wed/Thursday.

Beta 3 is the most undecided version of iOS betas in a long while. Glass on some screens, frosting others. Apple needs to stay true to who they are and not listen to opinions of others. Set the direction and go. Add a toggle for those who do not like glass. I like glass. Looks cool and fluid. Now that they toned it down it looks out of place and BLAH.

All seems to indicate we’ll get our fix tomorrow. Hope that’s the case, the speculation is probably more fun than the beta itself.
Honestly, I find new iOS, with glass or without, to be somewhat underwhelming. I think mobile OSes have plateaued overall. Very little innovation, but that’s ok. I do want a phone that does not have a camera bump. I want a flat phone. I want a FAT version not AIR version. A FAT version where the phone is flat because the battery would be increased in size to fill the valley that is most of our phones back side. Is that unreasonable?

I want a phone where it’s easy to use it with one hand, I want navigation buttons, glass or not, to be within reach of my fingers. I want navigation to be standardized at least between core apple 🍎 apps. Is that unreasonable?

Sorry just throwing out some items that I think are easy to achieve but for some reason all the braniaks at tech companies are too cool for that.

How about a phone OS that can be easily switched to kid OR elderly phone, so my parents in law can find a FLIP camera button when doing face time?

Sorry again for long late night post. But like it or don’t, but those are missing items. And tech people for some reason are not accepting the challenge.
