Sounds very useful. I was aware that it currently works with purchases made with Apple Pay.
But it will be really useful for to be able to track ALL purchases, and for them all to show up in the one place.

Currently I have five different parcel tracking apps on my iPhone to track the purchases I make from the various places. By the sounds of this feature I can remove them all once its up and running.

I would like this so I can stop using multiple tracking apps.

FYI there is an App called Parcel which is great at aggregating all tracking information and synchronise it across all Apple devices via iCloud. Supports tracking numbers from all postal and courrier services I have thrown at it, and also Amazon’s proprietary order tracking system.

Edit: I just saw someone mention Royal Mail is currently blocking third party Apps from retrieving information in its website. Pretty silly and may also apply to Apple. I have used with with Royal Mail in the past with no issues though.

Question for people who have the beta installed: is there a way to manually add a tracking number instead of having it automatically imported.

It could be because Apple Intelligence missed it on the shipment email, the retailer didn’t mention it on the email but is listing it on its website, or you simply want to track a parcel sent by yourself or someone else for which you have a paper receipt with the tracking number.

That's odd - I've never had a problem tracking RM with Parcel. My last RM delivery tracked on Parcel was only last Thursday, and it shows the full tracking info just like any other courier. I subscribe (it's the only app I've ever subscribed to), so I'm not sure if that makes a difference - maybe the dev has to pay for the RM API so he only makes it accessible to paying users?
I have a Parcel subscription. Entered a RM tracking number into Parcel this morning and received this:

I didn’t until Wallet started giving me notifications for stuff dispatching etc

Coverage might be better in North America, but in Europe for me support is very spotty. I do get it once in a while but retailers who support this feature seem to be a small minority.

It isn’t widespread enough to be really useful as you need a separate truely universal tracking App anyway. But if the new iOS 26 feature works well I could ditch Parcel as I tend to prefer first party Apps if they get the job done decently.

(Using Free version as only just installed!) I get this message:

Due to the restrictions imposed by Royal Mail, we are currently unable to provide tracking information for its deliveries. We apologise for the inconvenience and we hope to resolve this issue in the future. In the meantime, please use the Track on Website function in the app to track this delivery on the Royal Mail website.

Currently my most used carriers are RM, PF, Evri with the odd DPD or some other one.

My big ask for Wallet is for it to handle receipts!

I so want to be able to get receipts from retailers imported straight into Wallet, at the till. Detailed receipts which could be used when returning items, etc.

So nice to be able to refuse printed receipts and not feel the need to accept them only to throw them away after a few days. Or lost. Or cluttering up physical wallets. Which is the fate for most of them. And to get that with no extra steps required (from my point of view) - just the screen switching from the usual paid screen display to "Receipt imported".

I just downloaded it and will give it a try. Thank you.
