Not yet. Probably by Beta 2.

Posted this earlier but it was lost in the flood of posts: If you’re still on the Siri waitlist, try going into Photos and use one of the new ios27 tools like reframe. Once it’s finished downloading and runs the change, go back to see if you’re still on the list.

the whole focus of the updates are under the hood improvements and fixing what they said would be out a few years ago. its not the first time apple has not done big visible updates. last time as snow leopard I think.

I have one phone and I am seriously fighting the temptation to download the beta right now. So far this logic and reason are winning out, but only time will tell how strong my resolve is.

I swore off all betas since iOS 17…then came iOS 26 and it was one horrible release after another. My 16 pro max battery life was atrocious, the phone got warm under the smallest amount of use, searching on screen froze all the time or would take 20 seconds to show up on my screen…I could go on and on.

So far 27 has been fantastic. And yes, this is my phone I use daily. iOS 26 was that bad that this beta is a leap ahead so far.

So far yes if you’re speaking of lag. On 26 I’d start typing look up and it wouldn’t capture until the third letter. So far I have not noticed that.

Also, when I type in the Home Screen search bar the results are instant…26.xx it wouldn’t capture until take 10-30 seconds for what I type to show up…it was brutal. Fixed so far on 27

Noticing that App Manager is very heavy handed and kills apps way premature.

New siri works really well on m4 macbook air, but works terribly on my iPhone 17PM. won’t will wait for iPhone to finish indexing, but so far iPhone can’t event tell me my calendar meetings tomorrow but macbook air has o problem.

For those experiencing the issue where the Messages app badge shows an inaccurate number of “unread” messages… are you using Messages in iCloud?

EDIT: according to Reddit, disabling “Screen Unknown Senders” and “Text Message Filter” fixes the bug.
