Honestly not sure if showing the percentage is as simple as flipping a switch but i can see both sides of the argument although i think they really should either be completely closed or completely transparent (i prefer the latter tbh)

It’s still available, search for the following message:

All of my Siri suggestions preferences were wiped so my Home Screen was a randomized mess this morning. First time I’ve seen this.

Other than that everything feels pretty good.

You don’t need to close an app for battery savings. iOS takes care of it much more efficiently. You’d actually be consuming more battery if you kill apps, especially frequently used ones.
And yes, the Phone app defaults to the dialing screen, as that is its default mode.

Can you tell me if the Edits and IG app is working okay? On B1 there was a few buttons towards the top that I couldn't touch. Couldn't edit posts on IG as well. I want to get back on the beta train but I need those apps for work.

Thanks so much! I actually downgraded back to iOS 26, so I just don't want to do that again. I imagine PB is coming next week so maybe it's safe enough to jump back in.

I had that issue on DB2 on and off, and it was incredibly annoying!
On DB3, it always defaults to whatever I last left it on.
I also force close the app when I’m not using it, so I’d say it’s probably a bug.

Speaking of the dialer… are they really gonna leave the buttons looking like that?

I have, as some have said, noticed that the new Siri in CarPlay seems like a step back in terms of speed. I get that I need to say the whole command, "text Cindy that I'm on my way home", but the responses are still slow and when a new message comes in and I tap it, new Siri is definitely slower to read it to me. Just a lot of pausing where the old Siri was lightning quick. 🤷‍♂️

24 hours and the new indexing message is gone. Had my 17 Pro plugged in a lot of that time.
