iOS 27 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Same here. Have an automation/shortcut to toggle rotation lock for opening and closing YouTube. In beta 2, it would work sometimes but was still sporadic and would glitch. In beta 3, it does nothing at all. Reported in beta 2 and beta 3, but it still says no recent similar reports for mine

I'm wondering if it depends on the trigger being used.

Also, even in DB2 the automations would usually work once after any reboot or a toggle off/on of the trigger.

So far, mine seem ok, but I think one should have triggered last night which didn't. I've rebooted since then.
 
Didn't see this listed when I searched.

Find My no longer shows address number, just the city. Probably more of a privacy change than a bug.

b2 completely killed all of my automations - whether triggered by Bluetooth, CarPlay, Workouts, or app launches.
All work again with b3

DB3 has brought back the CarPlay disconnect issues I had in DB1. It always comes back up after 20-30 seconds but it's really annoying on a car trip.

Also Google Maps seems broken for me in DB3 in CarPlay. When I start a route in CarPlay, it doesn't show any directions in CarPlay's Google Maps display. I didn't have this issue on DB2.

iOS 27 beta 3 here. When I open Bitwarden app, it opens and showing up an numpad too. It looks like a bug, or is it just me?

DB3 works great, no issues on Mac, iphone, CarPlay (neither had problems on Db1 nor 2).
Battery life fantastic compared to crappy DB2!!! still 57% after 22h on DB3
This is probably going to be a public beta this/next week.
But honestly all those changes are so minor compared to ios 26.......
ok Siri works and is stored on the device but I don't really care about that....Gemini has been doing the same thing for years.....
Also I haven't noticed any performance speed up (17 pro)......it's the same....
So....a few graphic tweaks....that's it for iOS 27....

Oops, not a good news. I will test it on Monday and see how it goes then.

My 6:20AM automation to wake me with radio etc. went off at 5:30AM. Occasional bug that also happened with the last beta. I stopped the news, and it went off again properly at 6:20. But I'm still grumpy from being awakened at 5:30.

Was in the car for around an hour today and not one disconnect. 2024 Jeep Gladiator. I had multiple on Beta1. Beta 2 and 3 have been solid.

Did anyone lose Home Automations with B3?

All of my automations are gone

I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. then I started the app and going trough the configuration, after this when I start the app, it shows a keyboard, instead for an numpad. Is it possible to start the app without the keyboard showing up. I can't remember that it had that behavior before?

On a serious note every beta does indexing in the background regardless if there is a message about it or not. Obviously apple plans to have a working link in the future that will explain what’s happening and why and cheated by sending you to the Mac indexing message and people complained so they just broke the link or added a link that’s not active yet.

Yes yes, this is very clear. I do think it’s very likely that the linked page will eventually go live about indexing. I wonder if they’ll combine all the OS indexing articles into one.
 
I am not sure if this is a beta 3 thing or from an earlier build but i am getting animated album art. I did not put animated album art when i bought the cd and imported to the music app and it was not animated on ios 26.

I do know of 2 albums i have that support animated artwork and one does not have it now.
