Better than beta 3 for me so far, and seems to have fixed a couple of very annoying bugs I was experiencing.

Interesting. On my Mini 7 iPlayer is working better than on beta3. On Beta3 the controls stopped working after watching for a few minutes. On beta4 iPlayer only locks up if I rotate landscape to/from portrait
Ahh, Google Maps and CarPlay finally work together now without totally bugging out.

They still haven’t fixed the disappearing app icons in Spotlight search once an app gets updated in B4.
Seriously, Apple, how is this incredibly obvious bug still here after 3 betas? First one was fine as it didn’t affect the old Siri. Again, the only fix to this is to just restart the iPhone, which is really annoying. Really hope B5 fixes this, but that’s another two weeks!

Siri definitely feels a LOT faster on my 15PM. Feels like commands (set a timer, send a message, etc) are finally being processed on-device again.

You’re definitely right; even on my 17 PM those simple Siri commands are now being processed extremely quickly in B4.

For some reason my 16PM had the new Siri interface on DB3v2 for the expressive voices where you could adjust the sliders, and now with DB4 that interface is totally gone and it's back to the old voice selector. So I went to the source and asked Siri, who said while that might have been available in the previous beta, my 16PM only has 8GB RAM and that feature requires 12GB or more, so that's why the feature is likely no longer there. Seemed to work fine here, but alas, they must always remind us in their little ways that they expect us to update our devices.

They said it would be from the outset. It's a performance and refinement and QoL update, not a groundbreaking major release with hundreds of new features. I don't know how or why anyone expected any different.
Lots of public reports claiming Beta 4 is a huge update from Beta 3, with tons of fixes for known issues. Looks like the beta has crossed over the hump and it'll likely be smooth sailing through to release with more polish and shine.

Would someone please check to see if there is an option to completely reset Screen Time settings to their default (off) state and I'm just missing it? Feel like I'm talking to myself here.

Yeah, beta 4 and still no way to reset Screen Time settings. That's the issue. But let's just keep making excuses (iT's A bEtA11!!!!1111!!1!!!!1!!) until the public release comes out with the same problems and then act obtuse while blaming the end users for not filing enough bug reports. Same song and dance every year. Keep it up! 👍
My AutoMix seems to work fine, but more often than not it doesn’t show the word “Mixing…” during the transitions.
