Alright I wish I had been taking screenshots or documenting this, but every iOS version for as long as I can remember, I’ll just periodically run Speedometer 3.1 just to see how different iOS versions run.
Running a base iPhone 17:
On iOS 26, best I ever saw was around ~38.
iOS 27 DB3 I was very surprised to see a 46.
iOS 27 DB4 I just got a 49.2!
That’s a +29% improvement from the public release of iOS 26 to a BETA in July and my phone is still indexing Siri, which could make this even better once it finishes…
Apple is not messing around here, and I am very happy this is the work they are putting in. Absolutely incredible.
