iOS 27 Beta 4 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I have been having this type of issues on and off with wired CarPlay since iOS 27 DB1. For me it seemed to get noticeably worse with DB3, but seemed to have improved greatly with DB4. Will be testing it some more later today…

Update: still three disconnects during about a two-hour drive.

this release is very stable but the only bugs i experienced in the last few betas are still there so while I'm sure there are a lot of fixes, but also a few to go. Mine are find my, all items showing as "address unavailable", autocorrect randomly stops working, icons disappearing in spotlight.
 
I really like the darker iOS 27 icons, but it seems like with this build the dark mode icons on the home screen are a little bit grayer. Anyone else noticing that?

In the other way, it seems like dark mode widgets (at least the ones that have been updated for iOS 27) are darker now, which makes the slightly lighter icons more noticeable.

How long has this been a feature? Animated birthday banner when calling someone on their birthday.

That's been a thing for awhile. Subtitles will appear either when you mute, or when you jump back you'll see subtitles until the point when you jumped back.

iPhone Air - Phone
Tried copying and pasting the transcription of a couple of scam phone calls into Hiya and another site in Safari.
I was able to copy but the OS would not allow me to paste. I was able to paste into Notes, copy the text in Notes, and then paste into Hiya and a Safari site.

Not sure what the issue was but tried it again this morning and had the same issue.
Did not try this in B3 however it worked just fine in B2.

I’m having a hard time seeing a difference.

Top is an earlier 27.0 build, bottom is DB4.

I hate this bug. I turn off Siri suggestion but it still shows up. I noticed that some people have these settings off and it works. Siri suggestion won’t shows up. But most people still have

I did! (based in East London)

I did a quick search online and couldn't find anything about 5G+ coming online in my area yesterday, so I guess this was due to something being switched on on the iOS side with the new beta?

But let's just keep making excuses (iT's A bEtA11!!!!1111!!1!!!!1!!) until the public release comes out with the same problems and then act obtuse while blaming the end users for not filing enough bug reports. Same song and dance every year. Keep it up! 👍

you clearly have no idea what a beta is. please consider not using beta releases

I’m glad I’m not the only one! I’m Northamptonshire so East Midlands so defo a few extra masts between us
