Anyone know if the Bluetooth bug where it drops all connections when you have multiple devices connected, and when you go to the BT screen, it shows none of regularly connected devices (list is gone - only a reboot brings it back and reestablishes connections)? Myself and a few others reported it in Beta 3, and sent feedback to Apple. Going to install B4 here shortly.

Mine has still disconnected three times over a two-hour drive with DB4 and media playing. It’s better than before, but still. Let’s hope for a fix in DB5 now. ✌️
Are you using wired or wireless CarPlay?

I am positive it is not my cable, I am using the same cable I used when my phone was on iOS 26, however I did actually have a cable go bad on my recently, it was one of the Beats USB-A --> USB-C cables that was recommended for CarPlay, it worked perfect for like 6 months but I would drape the cable around my phone holder in the car and I think over time it caused a kink in the cable that would cause it to disconnect by moving the phone.

I got rid of that cable and went with an Anker one (also designed for CarPlay) and it worked perfect on iOS 26, this issue only started on 27 PB. And I haven't had the Anker cable but about a month or so.

Anyone else having issues using the standard iOS keyboard as a mouse?? it could also be the Outlook app, but I was trying to highlight stuff and it was jumping all over the place

I noticed today that my third-party widgets are actually black in light mode… then get converted to grey when I enable dark mode.

I wonder if this is a beta glitch, a third-party developer error/mistake, or if I simply need to ignore it & wait until September to let it resolve itself?

Is anyone else having an issue installing the iOS 27 Beta 4 IPSW using iTunes? It tells me I need to have the latest version of iTunes installed which I already do.

I couldn't install it on my Air from Finder for the life of me. It said I needed a computer update (one was on Sequoia, one was on Tahoe and up to date) but then the computer update would make zero progress and fail.

Ended up doing OTA.

FindMy
iPhone Air, iPad Pro 11, AT Gen 1

Been checking to see how FM works for this beta. Wife has an AT on her keys and I was tracking her coming home.
It showed a location and said 15 minutes ago and 25 minutes away.
Two minutes later it showed a new location and said 6 minutes ago and 20 minutes away. The distance does not add up.
Then she pulls into the driveway as I’m reading the message.
While the locations shown are on the route she drove, the times are off.

Have to test this some more.

Additional item … the update set both my APP2 and APP3 to Transparency. I keep them on NC.

its a little suspicious that everyone's indexing message disappeared around the same time lol
Ya think?

It's more reasonable to think that indexing will take X hours, and given that everyone installed the update at about the same time, the process, likewise, should end somewhat concurrently.

It still seems like dictation does not insert end punctuation without me saying "period" or "exclamation mark."

In B1, it would do a great job translating inflection and cadence to punctuation.

I use a wired CarPlay with an Anker cable and am sure it’s not a cable, as I have tried the same setup with iPhone 15 still running iOS 26.5.2.

Update: It looks like after all my CarPlay issues were caused by some intermittent issues with the Anker USB A to USB C cable. Yesterday I was driving another car fitted with the same cable, which was bought later and used much less, and had zero dropouts during a long drive. So today I plugged this “good” cable into my usual car (which used to have disconnects) and drove for about three hours with zero dropouts. What is strange, however, is that the “bad” cable had no issues working in my car with an iPhone 15 running iOS 26.5.2, yet would be having lots of dropouts with my iPhone 17 and DB4. Is it possible that iOS 27 feeds more data so my “bad” USB 2.0 cable gets “overloaded” and drops the connection, whereas its younger twin manages to handle it? Anyway, I have now ordered a UGREEN USB 3.0 cable, so it should resolve it.

Don't you need to have Golden Gate installed to update via Finder?
