I don't buy this "Snow Leopard" release. Just stop producing bloat, and focus on quality. We don't need yearly releases! This must be our workhorse, not some iphone toy os.

I think there will be a LOT of code optimization with iOS 27. Unfortunately, it could make it unusable with any iPhone older than the iPhone 12, though.

Since the M1 is based on the A14 in the iPhone 12, I bet that will be the new minimum requirement for support for iOS 27. And agree, dropping Intel will really allow them to get in and optimize a ton of code that macOS and iOS have shared since the iPhone came out.

I thought the iPad 9 would still be supported, and it uses the A13 Bionic.
