Apple, under Cook, has no idea what it takes to maintain an App. They code and move on to the next shiny App.

It is a shame that they have blocked independent developers for Apps that compete with Apple's.
Well said!

Looking ahead, it will be interesting to see how the new CEO fares and what he's able to accomplish. There's lots of opportunities for improvement, I wish them well.

The radar still sucks.
Yeah, you just can’t beat something like RadarScope. And Apple’s radar palette is so dumb. People are used to the more normal palette spectrum of light to extreme precipitation: blue, green, yellow, orange, red, pink, purple. It makes Apple’s really difficult to read how bad the storms are, especially since it’s basically just blue, purple, and yellow. They really need to add an option to change it, at the very least.

How about accuracy? I am sick of it saying rain in 22 hours, when it is currently raining! I ride my bike to work every day, so I have to rely on a fairly accurate forecast, whether I need to pack my rain gear or not - it adds a fair bit of weight and bulk to my pack and reduces the number of other things I can carry, such as lunch.

I have switched to weawÖw, which gives me the choice of around a dozen different weather services, and I have found the DWD (German Weather Service) to be the most accurate, so I can generally rely on it, when it comes to what the weather is doing and what it is going to do in the next 12 hours - although we live in a strange area, the surrounding counties will often get rain and we won’t, or they get heavy rain and flooding and we get a light shower. But it is certainly a lot more accurate than whatever Apple is using.

It is currently saying we will get 38°C (100°F) and no rain on Saturday, the official German weather service say 40°C, 104°F, with a 25% chance of rain.

The number of times I went for a walk with the dog and Apple said it was bright and sunny, with 0% chance of rain and I came home absolutely drenched! I finally gave up on Apple Weather a couple of years ago and got WöW instead. I like the Apple Weather app itself, but it is useless, if the information it gives is constantly wrong.

I would finally be happy if Apple simply enabled the proper weather radar view/color palettes, you know like every single weather radar app on the planet. Whispy blue means what to me? Rain? Wind? A cloud perhaps? We will never know….

I wish I could turn off all weather warnings.
