Thanks for this - incredibly useful. Finally managed to add my Everyday rewards card to apple wallet - now to test whether I need to open the barcode to access shop and go.
If you added Woolworths rewards, make sure auto-selection is turned on. Then when you approach the payment terminal during or after scanning your food, it will automatically select itself, no need to open the wallet app!

Once you then go to pay, the next time you tap, your default bank card will automatically open. Just make sure you’re facing the phone while doing it as it will need faceID.

All sorts of cards, and as of today, 76 in total.

It’s fair to say that half of these cards won’t be used more than twice a year.

In saying that, i still have about 30 I use frequently. So with no tabs/sections or search function in the Wallet app, it can be a PITA. Thankfully most of the important stuff I frequently use is NFC with auto selection.

My state government just announced that they will be using a digital drivers license and ID provided by Apple and Google Wallets. Which to my knowledge, will be the first country outside of the USA to adopt the technology. So i guess they will be in my Apple Wallet too.

My public transport system uses Visa/Mastercard via the Wallet Express Transit slot, which is a shame, since our SmartRider 20% discount system isn’t compatible with smartphones.

Understand that Australia has been the world leader in tap and pay since it was first invented. I’ve not swiped a bank card in over 15 years.

That's quite impressive. Yes, I can concur — there should be folders 🙂
Not having Pretzel Australia is what helped me stay afloat, I suppose.

Thanks again I- it will be tested in a couple of weeks when the latest flybuys promo wears off!

as long as it works with regular bar codes. QR codes are rarely used for such things.
Eh, funny how you say that because parking garages for whether you have a pre-purchased reservation or a monthly access pass

The latter applies for me because I go into an office 5 days a week and therefore do a monthly parking contract so this allows me to have something to scan from my wallet (just in case the garage's license plate reader doesn't work)
