iPad wifi bug? Clarification is needed.

There was a Wifi bug in the first GM release of iOS 4.2 for the iPad.

clicking on it, but doesnt appear to be downloading. not showing anything downloading in itunes after clicking download and update. maybe a glitch that will be fixed soon.

It did this to me 2-3 times before it finally started downloading. Others mentioned the same thing in the other thread.

Are the people who jailbreak the same ones who trick out their Hondas with intercoolers or put erector set spoilers on their Subarus. Let me guess, you wear TapOut hats exclusively.

Is it 4.2 or 4.2.1

Is the update being offered as version 4.2.1 or as version 4.2?

Just wondering because I have the beta 4.2 on my iPad and iTunes says there is no new version.

iPhone 4 - 624.3 MB. This seems about double the typical iOS update size. It would be nice if this was a universal file so I would not have to download a different file for each of my different iOS devices.

After initial glitches downloading has started.

AT the allotted time several folk reported getting the upgrade option come up but whne they clicked download the process ended only to have 4.1 indicated as the latest version again. However after a few minutes downloads seem to be going smoothly albeit slowly due to the demand.

That happened to me. After a few tries, I'm off to the races.
