What is with the Notes sync that is now part of setting up Google IMAP? Is there a Google function that has synced notes?

One major gripe I have with ios4 is the inability to lock in landscape. I don't see why they would implement portrait lock, which in my opinion is far less useful than landscape lock.

There's a sort-of-workaround, but it's not ideal. Rotate iPhone 90 degrees to switch to landscape; then rotate a further 180 degrees, iPhone flips the display along horizontal axis. Now you can rotate almost 180 degrees in the opposite direction without leaving landscape mode. Hope this helps 🙂

My car stereo no longer can read the integrated iPod nor any other sound. It does however still charge my iPhone. Kind of annoying. Not sure what apple changed to make it incompatible 🙁

I have that problem with my Alpine iDA-X001 but found that, for whatever reason, if you have the ipod app open before plugging in it works fine and much quicker than before.

deleting "no sender" e-mail on Ipod touch

I have the 4.0 system on my Ipod touch and I have been receiving e-mail with no sender and no content. Why? How do you delete it? How do you prevent receiving more of this type of e-mail?
