In beta 5, when enable or disabling Private Browsing in Safari it would give you the option to close all current windows. When selecting yes, the windows would still be open when going into Safari.

I'm currently downloading Beta 6 so I haven't had a chance to check if it's been fixed. Did anybody else notice this prior to the latest beta?

Was anyone else on Beta 5 and when they went into software update it said iOS 5 Beta 5 but still updated and is on Beta 6?

OTA update wiped my Photo Gallery which contained my wallpapers, but upon reboot the wallpapers are still on the home/lock screens.

Does anyone have a link for iTunes Beta 6??

I wonder if the lock screen and iPod lag issues are fixed!

beta 6 changed the tweet ringtone. I liked the old tweet ringtone from betas 3-5. Anyone have that ringtone saved?

There's something similar that happens in iOS 4. If you set an image as your wallpaper then delete it, it will still be your wallpaper.

Check the dev center. If you aren't a dev, you shouldn't have it.

Apparently all the OTA updates wipe photos, it says they need to be resynced. As for the backgrounds, when you set them they are copied to your profile in the filesystem so even if you delete the photo the copy that it made when you set it lives on.

Well I obviously do have it, so thank you for being of no help.

I'm not sure what's happened here now that I'm on Beta 6 I went into Photos and it says Restoring 188 of 206 and has stuck there???

Yeah mine is doing the same thing. I took a screenshot at 99 of 428 and it seems to have frozen the progress.

Edit: ... aaaaand it's moving again. Try opening your camera roll.

All other data are still on my phone (music, emails, texts, etc.) after the update, including my camera roll. It's only the "wallpapers" folder that was wiped, which seems a little odd to me.

Update: NVM I need to pay attention to change logs:

OTA Software Update
If you are doing an OTA software update, you will need to re-sync your photos with iTunes.

Whoops, I edited my post, I meant photos not phones...

Another bug fix:

In Beta 5, the iPod (now Music) app, when you pressed volume up or down on the side of the device, the volume slider on screen would not move to reflect the change.

This has been rectified and works as normal in Beta 6.

Thank god! That would get SO annoying. Assistive Touch seems to be a lot faster and more responsive now, and WiFi Sync seems to be working correctly now!

I noticed that even general UI navigation while content is syncing in the background was far smoother than in Beta 5.

Previously, the UI would stutter or skip frames as content was syncing in the background, but it seems solid thus far with any content I've synced while using the device for other tasks.

I most definitely agree, WiFi Sync still seems to be a little buggy on my end, so I'm gonna turn it off for now to avoid any issues. But it DOES work much better on Beta 6 than it did on 5.

I have this bug that whenever I sync with iTunes I get a "Purchased" playlist popping up on my phone with each sync. Any ideas as to how I can resolve this? It started with Beta 5!
