when ever i try to get iTunes beta 9 it loads up beta 5 and doesn't instal 9 but 5. any tips?

Id be wary about upgrading to GM due to this:

It wasnt a problem in the betas but may be activated for this GM. Id wait for a jailbreak developer to check the GM first to see if shsh blobs can still allow downgrades.

Looks like several people are saying on Twitter that you do have to have a developer ID for the GM. Can anyone confim? I find this hard to believe.

Loading the GM on my ip4 now, will report back. It does not have a registered UDID. I'd used the iOS5 betas on my ipad2 but not my phone.

Yes. iTunes 10.5 beta 7, 8, or 9.

Does the iTunes beta just install over the 10.4.1?
Can I install beta 9, install iOS 5, and then downgrade back to 10.4.1 and will everything be ok?

just installed on my iPhone 4 using the restore option and then backing up my old phone contents to it through iTunes 10.5 beta 9 i think

still have my text messages contacts and voice mails

If anything goes wrong with iTunes you can always un-install and re-install the released version from the Apple website.
