Dual core cpus use less power than single core cpus, not more.
Every bolded thing in the link I posted is reasonable and has a real chance of happening in the next iOS and iPhone.
You are making things up, and so is my link, and there isn't a single bolded thing on either list that is unreasonable. It's just that the list in my link is a lot more comprehensive than the list in this OP.
If anything, your prediction that Google Maps will be replaced by Apple's own mapping program is a lot less likely than anything bolded in this link...

There's a lot more to making a viable competitor to Google Maps than simply buying up a mapping company or two. MapQuest has been around a lot longer than Google Maps, invested a lot more money into it and even they couldn't keep up with Google.
You say i'm making things up, and you say that the other thread is more attainable, but
do you really think Apple is going to release a four inch display on the iPhone after they just upgraded the display on the iPhone 4? No way that they are going to do that, not at least until 2012. There are other things that are unrealistic but i'm not going into detail...
Basically, everything I posted, I'm showing proof that Apple is working towards or entertaining the idea of improving the iPhone in the areas that I've showed. I'm not just wishing or hoping.
Before 2007 Apple never made a phone, and we saw how that turned out. Google maps on Android phones are great, Google maps on iOS are poor at best, Apple is not MapQuest or any of these other mapping companies, Apple is Apple. We've seen what they've done from iOS to OS X. I would bet that they would put out a better mapping navigational system than what we have now. And we all know how Apple loves to control every aspect of the phone.
