Not to beat a dead horse, but it does feel snappier (ugh.... can't believe I said that)

But seriously, as far as overall speed (this was an "update" not a restore, and from a non-beta build) I can really see an improvement in overall speed with Safari, app openings, etc. 6.0.1 (or whatever the last build was) seemed to be a tad bit sluggish at times. Of course still kills my 4S in overall speed but there were times when it seemed to slightly choke.

Haven't noticed any bugs in my day to day use and so far seems to be a pretty solid beta overall.

This is not a feature per se, but iOS 6.1 is "missing a refreshed QuickTime interface to match the new controls found on the lock screen and Music.app"

iOS 6.1?

Where are you guys getting this 6.1 update? I just checked on my 4S and there's no update available and I'm only running iOS 6.0.1...

Thank you for your answer. I appreciate it! :D

Edit: I have a developer account but I can't access the beta SDK. :( I guess I'll have to wait for the release version...

There is a free version of the account (I'm guessing you have this) and a paid version - which is the one you need to gain access to the beta SDK :)

Still working perfectly! No delays no restore or settings change needed. Beta 3 has appeared to have fix the issue for myself and my co workers.

Hey, Any updates. Thanks for keeping us posted, this is giving me hope that a fix will be available for us with a 6.1 release.

Anyone have the Apple digital adapter that stopped working with iOS6? Is it working again with 6.1?

Lol @ your ridiculous hyperboles. Is it too much to ask for a few new features? Back in the day a x.1 release designated new features while a x.x.1 was bug fixes, but that was back when Apple was playing catchup with Android by waiting a year to give us "magical innovations" like MMS, copy & paste, and the like. Now that they've copied the jailbreak community and Android to near completion they're at a loss. For Apple's sake I hope the jailbreak for the iPhone 5 comes soon. Oh how times have changed at Apple.
THANK YOU! I was hoping someone would say it.

When connecting my iPhone to the USB input of my car, I am allowed to change songs from the phone itself. Older versions of iOS would tell you that the iPhone is connected to an accessory.

I don't know if this applies to all accessories though.

Just upgraded last night and here is the result ...

Prev on 6.0.1 - same situation would cost me 2% every 1 hour
Now on 6.1 B3 - same situation is 0.5% every 1 hour !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Btw.. I have everything on Push like iCloud, FB, some more apps...

I am very optimistic for the GM!

seems ok, what are you doing for 33 minutes though? On that usage I will lose maybe 1%

I am very happy with the results so far ... I think Apple has given high significance to the Standby Drain and overall radio software ...

I can now easily get 1 hr usage per 10% of drain and standby time is staggering !

Here's an update after my full day clicking numerous photos videos , whatsapp and calls ...

Really? 6.1 makes the iphone 5 even faster? Can you test safari benchmarks like Sunspider, Html 5 test and etc to see if they made Safari any better?

I think we won't be getting a beta 4, but instead a GM, and release by Christmas. No one seems to have noticed that iOS 6.1 betas 2, and 3 have the same expiration date of December 28th. Meaning it is nearing completion. Last year with 5.1 beta 3, the expiration date was far into the next year, which was clear that it would release in March along with iPad 3. iOS 6.1 isn't shipping with a product and thus should be released soon.

Wether its beta 4 or GM I hope it's released Monday.

If beta 3 is near final, then there's nearly no point in upgrading. Did you guys see the current 6.1 beta changelog? There's nothing substantial in it with the exception of some very minor features. What a disappointment.

I still think there will be a beta 4 that will bring some feature for real.

This is becoming Unreal ... Standby Time is going off the roof !!
