Rape is illegal, and that is difficult to prove and prosecute for.
What a sad jealous prick
Rape is illegal, and that is difficult to prove and prosecute for.
It never really went away. Turn off location services for the Weather app and local weather is removed.

Rape is illegal, and that is difficult to prove and prosecute for. Not that the two are similar offenses, but just because Apple can't prove it, doesn't mean its legal.
Ok i think i made a not so great discoveryit seems the appstore now checks your location and even if you use or have setup a US account but your in a different country it will display the store according to your location, if you try to make a update it will tell you that your account can only be used on the US appstore and "re-directs".
I hope it just stay that way and i dont have to start using a vpn to download/update from the store.
With iOS 6, is Siri officially out of beta?
I noticed that too and frankly, I found it annoying. Mainly because in iOS 5, even when I was traveling abroad, it always opened the US store. Now it opened a different store and redirects me to the store it should have opened to begin with.
Luckily it only bothered me with this issue once and not every time I open the App Store (so far).
There's no longer an option in the weather app to turn off local weather.
Disable Weather in menu for Location services.
Personally, I dislike this new behavior and hope it is changed back. I too used to hear the swoosh sound and then knew my email was sent. That was handy in places with marginal signal, for instance. I might have run outside to get better signal, fire off a quick email, then run back inside after hearing the swoosh. Now the sound is meaningless and I have to visually ensure it was sent before risking losing signal.I just noticed that when you send out an email, you get the 'swoosh' sound before the email is sent, instead of after with iOS 5. My iPhone is only on wifi while I'm abroad, and the connection isn't the greatest, so I always watch the 'sending' bar at the bottom do its thing, then I know its sent when I hear the 'swoosh'. Well I just sent my first email with iOS 6 and it immediately 'swooshed', and I thought "wow that was fast", then I looked down at the bottom of the screen to see that the 'sending' bar wasn't even full yet and that the email was still sending.
Could Siri do searches on websites before? I just said search Wikipedia for Steve jobs and it opened safari loading that page. Didn't seem to notice Wkipanion but it's getting there.

And I never said or even tried to imply I am more righteous than anyone here. If someone, anyone, believes that I am crossing the line any more than anyone else here, I will gladly remove anything I have posted about any beta, developer preview, or otherwise.
That's been in since iOS 5.
Exactly, I agree with you, as I do the same. However, doesn't a pop-up appear on the screen saying that the message wasn't sent and it has been placed in your drafts, making tap the OK button? Maybe they see that as enough of an indicator that at leas tyou know the message failed, instead of needing an indicator saying that the message was sent. I dunno, just trying to guess their reasoning.
Part of the problem with the popup message in the previously mentioned scenario, is that by the time you get the pop up message you would already be inside, and have to go back outside in order to send the message.
Ok, 'Comeagain?', you should really remove everything you just wrote. I have done a law degree (not that you even need one to comment on such trivial matters) and what you're mentioning is far from illegal. It's a breach of contract/terms at best, which is a CIVIL penalty. I repeat, it is NOT a criminal act. That said, as someone else wrote, Apple would not have a hope in hell successfully pursuing someone in court over it. So CHILL OUT!
Been there since iOS 3 hasn't it?
Edit: Just checked version history, it seems it was 5.0
Back to the theme of the thread.... I don't know if this has been posted in the 42 pages yet or not, but here is a little thing that is cool:

An animation that allows you to close a picture and return to the album without using the back button.
