iOS 6 Beta 3: Current Bugs & Flaws Thread

So idk why but my iTunes Store doesn't work anymore....my free apps tab won't show "top free" anymore or my top grossing.anyone else having this problem?????

YES! I have this issue as well.

Also, can anyone confirm that the App Store doesn't ask you for your iTunes password when you BUY a PAID application? Due to choppiness and bugs I've accidentally bought 2 apps in the top paid Apps section that I don't even want..

Also, when a text message is being sent, notice the signal bar...it will change to No Service or Extended...seems the SMS app is having a hard time accessing the phone/3G antenna.

Actually, I found a way to fix it. You CAN send a group MMS to others... So, I simply send a group message to myself, and the person I'm texting, and It'll work. Try it.
 
Siri and Voice Dictation aren't working for me...the purple just spins and spins. Anyone else found a way to fix it?

Like one day it was working great and then the next it was out and not working anymore. It does the same for my iPad 2. Just a plan blank screen.

If I try to search for an app in the App Store it just shows a blank white screen. Happens on both my iPad and iPhone running iOS 6 Beta 3.

Had the same problem - siri and voice dictation not working. Also had missing phone calls and vm's happening. As I seem to remember, the phone and vm issue got worse to the point where yesterday most calls did not come through and I had so many voicemails that it filled my vm box. Had to clear through calling att, not on the phone as I had none showing on the phone.

Just re-installed beta 3 and siri is once again working.
 
Anyone having issues with sending or receiving MMS messages to non-iPhone users? I can't do either.

Yeah, I now have this problem.... My free apps were there 2 or 3 days ago and now they are gone.... I figure Apple doesn't want us to have free crap.... #
 
Hey guys,
Not directly relevant to ios 6 but lately I have been using my twitter app and whenever I want to see RT's or Favs on a tweet it gives me error Error Domain= Com.atebits.httprequest...

Anyone else having this problem?
 
Siri Sports

Is anyone else experiencing that Siri has forgotten all that it knows about sports? I know it worked in Beta 1 and 2 but I don't know if it's Beta 3 on my phone (4S) or if it's server side. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I get this with iTunes match. some albums download fine. others just won't download at all.
 
3 apps that crash

1 video app crashes when loading shared library of movies that are stored on 3 tb external hard drive attached to home computer. Am using latest generation apple dual band router, latest generation apple tv, two iphone 4, and ipad 2. ios 6 beta 2 on iphone 4s.(the only device that crashes)
2. HBO GO and MAX GO, both crash when selecting a movie.

app store works correctly sometime and sometime i get the same problems listed on previous posts.
 
Not sure if it's been mentioned but one thing that bugs me, which is only small, is the behavior when you set your wallpaper.

Previously, if you zoomed in before you brought up the menu, your zoom preference would stick when you got to the positioning part. Now, when you zoom in and select set as wallpaper, it zooms out fully and you have to rezoom in.

I find this makes it hard to precisely zoom and position wallpapers due to the overlays at the top and bottom making it hard to see the edges.

So has anyone reported the location service being bugy? Some of my apps soley utilize location and none of them connect. And sometimes in safari if I'm on google or something it doesn't access the location. That pop up doesn't come at all

YES annoying!! this happened in a few of the ios5 betas as well, they eventually fixed it by GM
 
Huge update

So i think i know what was causing the problem of my itunes not showing the "Free Apps" window. I had just the update of beta 3 on my iPad 2 the UDID wasnt reg so once i formated my iPad 2 back to 5.1.1 it took it off its data base. Because now all of sudden I can see the Free Apps window again. It works great. I'm 90% sure that is what the problem was. I got happy and just updated my ipad to 6.0 beta 3 without reg. the UDID. So once that was off my ipad everything worked great on my iphone 4s again.

On My iPad I'm having the following bug. Sometimes when it falls asleep / turns of the screen, the screen wont turn on. Hit the home button and nothing happens. Hold the home button and you get siri and siri will work, but the screen still will not turn on. Plugging in the iPad will not restore the screen either. You have to restart the iPad to get the screen back on.


This has happened here and there randomly but not all the time. Trying to figure out if it's a bug with iOS 6 beta 3 or a issue with my new ipad. Going to give it till iOS 6 final comes out and if I still have the issue to bring it to apples attention, other then that, it's just a bug report for now.

Same issue here, screen doesn't turn on randomly.
 
Bluetooth Bug

Hello, this is my first post, so bare with me.

I installed ios 6 beta 3 today, and I have 2 bugs that I cannot seem to get around.

1st - When I save an image from Facebook, it does not save to my photo album.

2nd - When using Bluetooth audio in my car, I have lost avrcp. I get no info through Bluetooth and I have lost control (track forward, track back, play, pause, etc.)

I went back to 5.1.1 and everything goes back to normal.

Can anybody verify if they are having the same problems?

Bug/issue: When playing music for the first time in a few hours, playback will start for a few seconds, then it will pause. When resumed, it stutters a bit then plays normally.

iPhone, iPod, iPad model: iPhone 4S

Bug/issue: Cannot setup an @icloud.com email address. Get error saying "Problem turning on mail. Please try again".

Bug/issue: In the app store, if I visit the Top charts, the Paid and Grossing sections only load the first 10, with a constant spinning icon.

Fix: Close app from multi-task bar and reopen.

Bug/issue: iOS seems to ignore proxy authentication information when entered for WiFi anbd constantly displays a login popup. Problem has been around since iOS5 but since beta 3, it's been much worse.

Fix: None yet.
