iOS 6 Beta 3: Current Bugs & Flaws Thread

Password not required when downloading updates OR free apps

I don't know if this is just me or it is a change in beta 3 but when I go to download a free app, I click the 'free' icon and instead of asking for my password like it usually does, it just begins to download :L I have waited a couple of hours and restarted my iPhone before re-launching the app store but i still have the same issue, so I don't think it is anything to do with the 15 minutes that there usually is before having to re-enter my password :( I hope this is not just me else that could be quite worrying... Anyone else finding the same thing? Please help! :confused:

I have an iPhone 4 16gb, with ios 6 beta 3

HUGE BUG. Let me know if this has happened to anyone else. Me and my girlfriend share the same itunes store account. She bought the new Pink single on her phone tonight. I had automatic downloads on for music. I had 5500 songs on my iphone. when I got home and connected to wifi the only song I had on my phone was the new pink single. the automatic download of that song wiped my entire ipod! We are both on Beta 3. I know it had to have been when I got home because I was listening to my ipod when we were out.
 
Anyone else having issues where iTunes won't download songs? It gets about 1/4th of the way in and won't download. But some songs it's works the first time.

So, I put iOS 6 Beta 3 on a new iPad so I could restore the back up / sink it with my iPhone 4 already on iOS 6.

On My iPad I'm having the following bug. Sometimes when it falls asleep / turns of the screen, the screen wont turn on. Hit the home button and nothing happens. Hold the home button and you get siri and siri will work, but the screen still will not turn on. Plugging in the iPad will not restore the screen either. You have to restart the iPad to get the screen back on.


This has happened here and there randomly but not all the time. Trying to figure out if it's a bug with iOS 6 beta 3 or a issue with my new ipad. Going to give it till iOS 6 final comes out and if I still have the issue to bring it to apples attention, other then that, it's just a bug report for now.

I am having exactly the same issue. The Smart Cover turns it off but then the screen will not come back up. Hopefully it's a Beta bug and not an issue with the hardware.

I am also suffering with not being able to view the 'Top Charts' on the App Store, unsure as to whether this is an issue with iOS 6 or to do with Apple trying patch the in-app hack.

To be honest, with it being a Beta we should expect these things, after all, that's the point of them!!

having the same issue with the top charts on my iPhone 4, it finishes loading but just has a white screen with no apps showing, also from time to time it pops up saying 'cannot connect to iTunes store'

I've found a temporary fix for this..... go to Settings > General > Restrictions > Enable Restrictions > under 'Allowed Content' Select 'Require Password' and set it to immediate, this should solve the problem for now :)

Quoting myself to indicate that my problem is solved and was (likely) not iOS

As I changed my Internet provider, the issue disappeared.
Since my other devices were working fine, I'm inclined to think that the "integration" of IPv6 may be a cause for issues if your Internet router/modem is not setup for that? Mine was pretty old cable modem.
 
These are the following bugs I have encountered using IPhone 4S 64 GB White on iOS 6 beta 3



Vibrates / rings before notification banner appears (I.e delay in notification center banners as compared to alerts / vibrates / tone)


Complete album bugged on iTunes Store and still charges the full amount even when complete album option has been selected


Tweet and Facebook post delayed when used from notification bar while instant when used from native apps


Old message come as unread in notifications


Some apps have messed up menus
(Example perfect browser has mismanaged menus which were fine on the stable version)


Message search functionality not working at all (including spotlight search)


Slide to call from lock screen not working


Incoming call bug when on waiting (says slide to answer on call waiting and then gives list of options which never happened on earlier stable versions)
 
Alright, the only issues I have with Beta 3 is that after installing it on my iPhone 4 . I can only send and receive photos with iMessage users, when I text people using other devices I can't receive their photos or send them photos.
Is anyone else having the same issues?

Many people are having this issue.
Resetting network settings fixes it for some but not all. It fixed mine.
 
Issue: iPhone 'recent/missed calls' list does NOT update

Phone: iPhone 4, ATT

Fix: Tried reboot (hard), no effect. Not being able to see missed calls kinda sucks!
 
First time using my alarm in beta 3, screen stays black and you have to press the home button to see your options and snooze is back to being a horrible tiny button.

I have the same problem. Shows up days later sometimes
 
Siri is still not worldwide...

Bugs on iPhone 4S with ios 6 beta 3

My phone won't backup to iCloud at night, says its out of space even though I have 5 gig available. iMessage has not worked since I installed beta 3.
