iOS 6 Beta 4: Current Bugs & Flaws Thread

Music keeps skipping

This only happens when it's plugged into my car via USB (iphone 4).

It's not like it skips to the next track, it just cuts out the song for like a millisecond, which doesn't sound like much, but it's really noticeable when it does it like every 30 seconds. It doesn't do it when playing through the built-in speaker. But i know that when outputting via usb it's called like DAC (Direct Audio Connection) - so maybe that's not quite polished off yet idk.

Anyone else noticed this? Then again, it could be my car :p

Man they really destroyed sound output.. Beta 5 better fix this shameful sound quality. DAC doesn't work anymore and cracking noises during louder parts of songs.

Anyone notice if you flick the volume on/off switch from Off to On the volume level shows as at full volume but if you hold the volume up button the volume was actually at its lowest setting all along?

Sometimes i am getting an annoying bug.

It keeps loading a few old iMessages on the bottom of the chat. So it´s like i am getting the same message again, sometimes 3-4 days later.

A workaround: Load up Shazam while you are using a third party music app. Works for me on Mog.
 
I've had iOS 6 on my iPhone for awhile now. However, I just installed it on my iPad today. Anyone else having these 3 issues?


Photos: Editing a photo by just cropping it does not work. The photo will revert to its original after saving. If you do somehow get the edit to save, uploading an edited file to Dropbox will only upload the original, not the edited photo.


Newsstand: Covers of issues are not loading. Also, the icon is showing the wrong current issue cover. Magazines still work though.

Dropbox: sidebar isn't calibrated right. The Search bar and the most recent uploaded file is up under the main bar.

I'm not having these issues on my iPhone (excluding Newsstand because I don't use it on there). I am aware that this is a beta, these little problems don't bother me. I was just curious if I was the only one experiencing them.
 
These may/probably have already been listed, however I will still post my findings:

Email sent 'Swoosh' send is expressed way too quickly, before the email has actually been sent. I rely on this swoosh sound to indicate that the mail was indeed sent. The way it works now it practically useless to me, as it makes the sound prematurely, not checking to make sure the mail was successfully sent.

I have noticed received email notifications, as well, that the vibrate is premature. The sequence used to all occur at once (vibrate/sound effect/notification appears on lockscreen/banner at top of homescreen).

Now, the vibrate preempts the sound/appearance of the notification on the lockscreen/homescreen (via banner at the top)

Also, the mail app search functionality has been quite laggy for me; I will type in a couple of letters then it will 'lag' until I can't complete the word or string of words.

I feel like the mail app is also laggier in general for me; it takes more time to load sometimes when I tap on it and it will not let me perform any actions until the lag ceases.

Anyone else experiencing anything like I have?

It wiped everything I had in there.




On an unrelated note, does the Clock app icon for the iPad look dim to anyone? Also, does it bug anyone that the Clock app icon is white on the iPad and black on the iPhone? Normally stuff like that never bothers me, and I am so glad the iPad finally has a core clock app, but why the difference?
 
Is anyone having issues with Maps?

Can't load any map data. Its flickers but hasn't locked up yet.

I've tried closing the app and restarting the phone. Haven't restored yet.

Ya suddenly now I am not able to get my current location! iPhone 4S Beta 4
But earlier it was working fine....!
 
The "Update" and "Open" buttons to the right of apps requiring updates in the App Store do not work on the iPad 3rd gen wifi. The only way to update apps is to hit the "Update All" button in the corner. They do work on my iPhone though. Already submitted the bug report to Apple.
 
Found another bug, this one I haven't reported to Apple yet (my internet is acting weird again).

Deleting GameCenter games from your iOS device and choosing to remove the GameCenter data does not remove the game from your GameCenter list.

not sure if this is even working yet, but i cannot connect my phone with the baked in Facebook. it keeps telling me there is a server communication error. anyone else?

i had to reinstall ios 6 beta 4 (replaced my iphone last night) and i have been getting this too. i can log into the facebook app completely fine, but when i try to do it in settings, it either gives that error message or just says verifying endlessly.

i had it working fine on the previous phone yesterday morning, so i don't understand what the problem is.

how long have you been having the problem? maybe there is an actual issue with the server verification process right now.
 
I just started having some weird WiFi problems. It's like it's losing connection to my router intermittently. It just won't stay connected. 3G is faster than my router in my own house! Anyone else have this problem?
