sorry to tell you but your "4G" isn't really 4G its 3G just labled 4G since iOS 5 as AT&T demanded apple call their 3G network a 4G one. you may not be getting throttled but it is possible your cell provider is having speed or reception issues on one or more of their towers.
By the ISO commitee that specify's technology and protocols LTE and WiMax are not even true 4G the upcoming specification LTE 2 is considered true 4G. The Cell cominaies have been doing channel bonding to make their 3G a little faster and litter faster but using the exact same technology. they did this to save money.. plus doesnt seeing "4G" on your iPhone screen look better and more competitive with all the LTE Gadgets out there?

i was able to fullscreen pics from app store on beta 4 now i cant not sure if this is a bug or actually controlled by apple's servers

Received an iMessage while on a call. Phone was locked. Slid the notification to unlock and respond and booted me from the call.. Something is still funky.

Would like to know if somebody is having this two issues with beta 4:
1. Sometimes when I receive a call, the caller can't hear me, but can hear me when using the speaker or headphones/mic. Never happens when I make a call.
2. Yesterday all the music on the iPhone got erased while I was listening to music. Paused a song and when I tried to search for another one, no music was available (iTunes match was already enabled).

I've had problems with callers hearing me as well. But, it happened if I called them and was on my headset. Once I removed the headset they could hear me.
What is going on? My share bar is completely gone! The tap to post for Facebook is completely gone and its not even in my settings!! What is going on?
Nevermind, turns out I didnt have facebook signed in with the settings..LOL

2. Itunes not able to back up - keep getting an error saying so. and without backup I am unable to restore.

I think others have said to reset network settings to get the wifi working. I haven't had this problem
Regarding the iTunes backup. I had problems with iCloud which required deleting old backups (I'd suggest moving them). Once the oldies were gone my backups were back on schedule. I am doing local (wireless) backups currently instead of iCloud backups.
I've just updated and I'm having a issue with silent mode. I always have my phone in silent mode as I don't like the sounds going off all the time. One thing I've noticed with the update is that when opening an app in silent mode the sound still plays. The only way to silence the sounds is to turn the volume down using the volume buttons?

Yep. I've had this problem a lot with this beta. Will most likely be resolved with GM because it has worked with all other betas. Hopefully it is fixed along with the issue of not being able to view excel documents.
I just did a full restore and no crash of the chase app. Still can't view excel documents, but at least there is a fix for the chase issue.

My battery percentage indicator is way off ever since 4. It will just randomly shoot down like 20%. Ill be off the phone for awhile and next time I pick it up itll say 1% battery and just stay at 1% for 20 minutes of usage before it dies.

Not for anything but I think we realize that is beta. The point is that even with a beta no one should expect a serious regression in functionality as they move through the beta releases. Obviously things break due to the laws of unintended consequences but true regressions should be avoided if there is any reasonable type of verification methodology in place.
yeah its so sad the clearly 3G technology carriers pressured the Union to change the description of what 4G is

its funny cause I live in Canada where Rogers uses the exact same technology of AT&T and AT&T got the 4G icon and rogers still shows the truer 3G its all still HSPA+ which is just using channel bonding (like DocSIS cable technology does) to increase its speeds that required no actually technology changes in the field like LTE and WiMAX require
I find LTE and WiMAX way closer to true 4G (Telus LTE get 50mbps down and 14mbps up using the speed test app on the SGS2 LTE) than HPSA+ and the ISO Committe that came up with the original specs said LTE 2 and WiMAX2 are 4G originally.
